    I bought these cables to replace older cables that kept coming out of the socket because the clips had broken. When I replaced the cable from my modem to my router, my Internet download speed dropped from about 700 Mbps to about 400 Mbps. I restarted all the equipment and checked again with the same result. Then I put the old cable back and the speed went back to 700 Mbps. I swapped them one more time and the speed was reduced to about 400 again.
