Works fine for electrical outlet, but not extension cord (extension cord plug are very close to each other). Work around is cutting the plug cover. I would recommend to go for smaller plug design if youre looking to cover everything, but it is usually harder to remove.

Of course we all want to protect little ones. That is not our primary reason for purchasing these outlet plugs. This Winter we noticed a draft of cold air coming through the outside wall electrical outlets. We added foam insulation behind the outlet plates and attached these outlet plugs to any outlet that was not in use. Because they are clear, they pretty much disappear. The drafts are gone.
