I can’t even remember how many umbrellas I have had break because if a gust of wind. It was just a few weeks earlier during a downpour I had one taken out by a wind gust and I was drenched while trying to collapse it before getting in my car. In fact, I recently counted only one unbroken umbrella among the six that I currently had. Some of these had also claimed to be windproof. So I am giving this one a try. So far I have used it twice, both tines the wind was moderately strong, probably around 10 mph with gust to something around 15 mph as my best guess. I had one instance where a gust caught it from underneath but it remained controllable and did not break. I hope not to experience anything stronger in the future as I would not like to find out the limits if this umbrella to stand up to stronger wind. I normally prefer just plain black umbrellas but this one does look pretty with the flower pattern and unlike me my wife prefers in over my normally solid black umbrellas. In summary the umbrella has held up well so far and I feel safe to say that is better constructed than any of my previous umbrellas and even though the price is a but on the higher side if it continues to perform as it has so far then it is worth it and worthy of recommendation.

Opening and closing are easy operations as they are done with a push of a button. Rib strength feels strong and should withstand descent amount of wind. The handle is on the small side, so holding it requires a somewhat forceful grip.

I received the black umbrella with the blue sky inside and love it! It is probably the most sturdy and well made umbrella Ive ever owned. It feels solid and is quite heavy. There are two layers of material...the black layer and the blue layer with nine (9) spines. The material seems to shed water as it dried super fast, water wicking right off. It opens quickly and easily, the mechanism is very strong. It is definitely tougher to close as you do have to use your hand to push down on the top portion to get it down but not a deal breaker. it really is a nice surprise when its such a dreary day and you open this and blue sky appears! I love that! Im very happy and would definitely recommend this!

This is a nice little umbrella. Compact, opens with a click of the button. Manually folds up easily. Materials are light but seem sturdy, more sturdy than most compact umbrellas. Says it is Teflon coated. Has a fabric cover.

This umbrella is quality. It is nice and sturdy with good weight to it. The flower graphic under the inside is so pretty. It automatically opens really good but is a bit hard to close. Not hard hard, just harder than your average cheaper made umbrella.

This seems to be a solid and well-constructed umbrella. There are nine spines, which is slightly more than the eight spines most of my other umbrellas, and the spines appear a little thicker than those of other umbrellas. It also seems to be slightly larger than my old travel umbrella—which often leaves the lower part of my legs wet. My wife loves the cloud-like decor of the interior. It’ll definitely lighten your mood and keep you cheerful on an overcast or rainy day.

I love this umbrella, it has a button that opens AND closes the umbrella! It is easy to hold, not too heavy and very sturdy. It comes with a storage pouch and I was pleased to be able to put the umbrella back into the pouch after it was opened!

nice umbrella. nice fabric with teflon coating on the material (there is sticker saying teflon is on it). feels sturdy. cloud print on the inside is cheerful on rainy days. given the compact size might not be suitable for simultaneous use by more than one person. maybe two kids, or one kid and one adult, but probably not two regular sized adults.

I was very happily surprised by how well made this umbrella feels. Easy to open and close. The spines feel sturdy enough to last a good storm. I love the sunny inside in the pacifIc Northwest winters. I am very happy with this umbrella.
