I just installed in on my pig TJ.... Going to be running some pretty rough trails in the southwest corner of Utah and norther Arizona. Time will tell folks. Vibration and heat is a big killer of radios in my part of the woods. YMMV

Not the most powerful radio on the market and a bit smaller than the standard cobra and whats my truck mounts were designed but for the most part a good radio

I like that this is old school but if the model 78 was available at the time of purchase I would have ordered it instead due to the built in SWR feature on the 78. But what the heck I needed a new SWR meter anyway.

The price was reasonable but you get what you pay for. The quality is poor. A lot of noise and sometimes difficult to get reception. I would send it back but too late for that.

Bought this radio on Jan 4th,2021, and put it up in the box in my home until I installed it on May 30th,2021. After the install the radio does not transmit on any of the channels. Im highly dissatisfied.
