> 3 dayMassive storage space and good data transfer speeds. I use this to back up my work computer and software and it has worked very well for me. Plug and play and off you go.

> 3 dayThis drive met my expectations. Its in a nice case, comes with the USB cable, and gets good speeds for a spinning disk. Always remember to be careful with it while transporting, and avoid moving it while its running if at all possible. Im using this as a backup drive, where I just pull it out about once a quarter and sync my data to it, then unplug it and put it back in storage. This works great for my purposes, and if you have similar requirements I think this is a good choice.

Greater than one weekwow, modern technology, we used to have 3.5 disk with 1.5M of storage, now this small thing can have 1TB storage, how amazing, cant complain about the product at this price. I am using it daily and so far so good. thanks

04-06-2025In the age of cheap flash (USB drives and SSDs), you might wonder where the UnionSine 1TB External Hard Drive USB3.0 (HD2512) fits in. After all, its a spinning 2.5 disk - subject to performance limitations, susceptibility to damage, with the inconvenience of a larger form factor than various competitors. Heres the thing, though.... its actually kind of good. ATTO measures the read and write STR of this drive at about 109MB/s. Thats fast enough to outpace gigabit Ethernet. Small block I/O isnt as strong, but this drive will do something that cheap flash wont... it will maintain its speed, no matter how much you write to it, and it will have higher write endurance. This is decent as a shuttle drive, or as a backup unit. Its worth noting that the UnionSine is less than half the price Id expect to pay for a decent 1TB NAND-based solution. All that said, its not for everyone. If youre not going to handle this drive with care, you should definitely opt for a flash-based solution, instead. However, if youre looking for a great value, and will treat this with care, this is a good solution for you. Conditionally Recommended

> 3 dayThis one came with a very nice bag to carry it in. To test it, I used a desktop computer and plugged it into a USB 3 port. The sequential read and write speeds about what I would expect from a mechanical hard disk. The random read speeds were oddly low and lower than the random write speeds. I tested this three times and on the third time, I reformatted the drive with the default for Windows instead of the original exFAT. but the results were fairly consistent with all three tests. I intend to use this as a backup drive.

> 3 dayI got this to expand the storage of my Xbox One, and Ive had no issues with it. The drive set up without any hiccups, and Ive had no problems playing games stored on it; I havent noticed any extra loading times. This drive has been an easy upgrade to my old Xbox One.
