The folks that have given this item a negative review because it slips when you put a heavy bottle in it apparently cannot think abstractly. The mount turns to allow it to be mounted vertically or horizontally or anyplace in between. If you twist the mount so you can mount the holder on one of the vertical uprights then you can a brick in it and it wouldnt move. If you mount it on the horizontal cross bar, then yes a full water bottle may eventually cause the holder to slip around.

I had it for a few months and unfortunately it broke

I pulled the clamp pieces off the cup holder and was able to attach it with a new longer screw to replace a shorter screw that came off the scooter and a couple of rubber washers. Feels solid and holds my Yeti tumbler (I think its 30 oz).

I use a mobility and I am on a medication that makes my mouth very dry. I have to constantly drink water or eat ice. I was putting a cup in the basket of my scooter every time I went somewhere. Then it occurred to me that if they have these for strollers, they should fit on my scooter. Now I don’t have to worry about my class popping out of the basket and it’s easy to get to. And if I have to just go to the other side of the building, when I’m at work, and don’t need to take my cup with me, my phone sits in it perfectly as well. I absolutely love it! Its sturdy but its hard to get my water bottle out. On top of that since the grip is strong it scuffed my water bottle. This product is not for me.

This fits the walker well. I placed it on an arm which was a 45 degree position and was able to easily adjust so the coffee cup was vertical

Put this cup holder on a knee scooter while on a cruise. Nice and sturdy, well made. Never spilled a drink!!

I bought this to mount on the handlebar of my motorcycle. It proved to not be up to that task, so I mounted it on the rail of my pontoon boat. It works perfectly there!

Good, sturdy product. Very easy to install. Just wish you could rotate it orbitally in any direction, instead of just around in a circle.

I like to bring a drink with me to the grocery store but the stores I go to dont have cupholders on the carts. After spilling an entire coffee while trying to turn the cart with one hand, I decided to look for something like this. It works perfectly. I just leave it in my car and grab it on the way into the store. Easy to install.
