He did his research: it needed to be sturdy, water-resistant, safe for electronics, and have a way to connect a portable charger easily. This Uniwalk one fit all the requirements, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality when we received it! To make me have even more faith in the company, their warranty is top-notch and so is their customer service. After using the backpack for a couple of months, one of the straps came loose from the pack itself. Not poor workmanship, but just a sewing error. Since it was past 30 days, I emailed the seller directly rather than Amazon. They responded close to immediately, and replaced it for us. On the off chance that my son will need another backpack in the years to come (which I wouldnt expect since this one is cool-looking and well-made), I would definitely buy another Uniwalk.

08-06-2025Brought this to Costa Rica and carried it everywhere for 10 days. Great on plane and on day trips. Loved the pockets. Sturdy and comfortable to wear. Great purchase.

Greater than one week*Update* ** New backpack was recived and my teen has been very happy with it. After a year it has no rips and has been the full time backpack in use. Changed rating to 4 out of 5 stars as we had to box it up and take it in to be returned but are happy with the replacment. ** Purchased this backpack because it was the style my teen wanted for school, had a large pocket for a laptop & books, pocket for electronic devices with usb port that can connect to a power bank, secure pocket for a cell phone/wallet and is reported to be water resistant. This backpack was almost perfect. When un-boxing the backpack I noticed we were sent a returned/used damaged product as it had a notepad from Boston University inside one of its pockets and the strap was damaged and safety pinned in place. We have returned this backpack and requested a replacement.
