I have dozens of tapestry needles for embroidery and quilting that are sharp pointed and straight, but these I ordered specifically for working tails in knitted objects. The bent tip helps me pick up the stitches I want to pick up without splitting the yarn. I liked them so much, I ordered a set for my sister, too.

These work really well. This was my first time using these kind of needles for sewing up my crochet items.

I had never used a bent needle before but when someone suggested I try it, I was willing. So I purchased this set because it seemed like a lot of needles for the money. I was not disappointed! These needles made my work so much easier. The bent tip allowed me to weave in the tails of my crochet work so much easier and more quickly. They also work great when I am adding embroidered features to my work or when I am trying to connect to pieces of work, especially when stuffed. I am very pleased with the quality of these needles. I have not broken any even though some of my situations could have done so with a lesser quality product. They are also easy to thread when using even the thicker yarns I sometimes use. Decent size needles, the case was a little small from what I expected but big enough to fit a few needles. Its a good value for price though.

I use these for my amigurumi projects. These are really good needles for that. They’re sturdy but flexible enough to glide under my stitches.

Love the bent tip. Very sturdy. Color has not come off.

These needles are what I call a “game changer”. I picked up crocheting during Covid. I had learn to crochet basic stitches over fifty years ago. Did a few blankets than gave it up. During Covid, got bored , so I decided to crochet again. Had a cheap starter kit that came with plastic needles and I had a heck of a time weaving my ends in. Read about these and decided to give them a whirl. GAME CHANGER!!! Who knew a bent tip would make it effortless weaving those pesky ends in. Don’t hesitate on buying these!

I love to work with these needles. Their slight curve near the end and more narrow point make them easier to use in my opinion. I have the normal silver darning needles as well, but these just seem easier to use when weaving in loose ends from my crochet projects. I was also pleasantly surprised to to discover a handful of stitch markers included in the box. And ... having a nice self-locking box to keep them in is a bonus as well.
