Description is useless. I am a novice re upholsterer. I ordered this product to repair a chair seat. After installing, i then learned that repairing a chair seat should be done with the red stripe webbing. The description of the webbing does not indicate that black striped is usually to repair chair backs and red striped is used to repair chair Seats.

I re-webbed a 3-person couch for the porch. The Jute webbing was wider and had less stretch than the previous version making the results comfortable without too much give. The web stretcher made it easy to get the Jute webbing taut.

Very well made and sturdy.

Worked great for providing a webbed seat for some chairs I got cheap, just in time for thanksgiving, since I didnt have dining chairs prior.
