Upholstery/Craft Jute Webbing (Burlap) 3.5 Inches X 10 Yards-Natural W/Red Stripes

The webbing was clean and did not fray when stretched or cut. It was a perfect replacement for restoring a set of antique chairs. The red-edged webbing is slightly thicker than the black-edged webbing because the red-edged webbing is intended for horizontal applications (in other words, the seat of the chair). The manufacturer doesnt really make that clear but thats why its slightly more expensive.

At first the product was tearing BUT I realized the staple gun I was using was WAY TOO POWERFUL and ripped right thru. When I changed to a manual staple gun, it worked out fine.

using this to repair old chair strapping. Is burlap in style and finish is about 3 in wide and may not be the best for small Upholstery repairs

While this is jute with red stripes, it is not 11-pound red striped jute. I ordered two brands of red striped jute from Amazon as a comparison and when they both arrived, this jute was clearly smaller/inferior to the other jute. See photo for details.

Used it to make bagel boards - works wells

Used this trim for a reupholstered project where I needed more support due to broken springs. It did the job very well.

The red stripe is misleading - this is not the standard 11lb webbing used for chair bottoms. My mistake for not catching that its only 10lb. Definitely not as sturdy. Seller also carries black stripe with 10lb rating.

This jute webbing worked quite well -- just what I expected. It was easy to work with and was able to be stretched tight on the seat frame using a webbing stretcher and a pneumatic stapler. It met all my expectations and now I have a whole bunch of it left over to renew several more dining room chairs!
