Perfect for my 2.5 year old to be able to hop on and off when we are on the go.

There’s no good place for your kid to hold on when they are on the rumble seat. Mine hits his head on the handle bar when on the rider. We have a 2 yo and a 6 week old - the uppababy vista and v2 configuration only lets you have the toddler in the seat facing you and bassinet below (this means you cant see the new born and the toddler lacks the ability to see where you’re going, and the world generally) or the toddler in the front facing out in the rumble seat which has a weight limit of 35 lbs (my 2 yo is 34 lbs - tall not chubby!). the system is really made for twins and making it all work requires a tremendous amount of flexibility and accommodation that newborns and toddlers don’t afford most parents. Additionally, the ruble seat makes the whole thing squeak and the otherwise Cadillac like maneuvering feel VERY awkward.

Our toddler walks independently about 99% of the time (we weren’t even using the stroller before baby #2 arrived). But now that baby is here, we’re back to toting around the stroller. Having the ability to hop on and off when a rest is needed has been SO great! Plus there’s major cool factor with a skateboard. I do wish the Vista handlebars extended further for extra room but I’ve quickly gotten used to shortening my stride (I’m 5’9”) when the board is down. We also purchased the rumble seat when we bought our Vista and, in hindsight, I totally regret buying it! (This is a different review - but Rumble is a major hassle to attach and is really uncomfortable for any child over 32” to sit in, even with the added extension clips for the top seat. It makes steering difficult and older kiddos will quickly outgrow the weight limit. We’ve used it once and I won’t ever use it again.)

Love our scooter board but difficult to use with parent console accessory. When parent console/organizer is attached to handle, there is no place for PiggyBack riders head to go. Also a bit challenging to use when Mesa car seat is attached - same issue, limited space for riders head to pop through. My eldest ends up sticking her body out to the side which causes the stroller to become unbalanced. She does love to ride though and look at her baby brother. It flips up and down easy and the stroller still folds when PiggyBack is attached.

We had the older version of this piggy back and lets just say, this one is a huge improvement. First of all, you dont need to hook it to anything to hold it up, it stays up on its own. That was our biggest complaint with the older version. It also rides much smoother. My only complaint is that it gets really dirty really fast but I guess thats to be expected with kids standing on it. I have not tried cleaning it yet but I would imagine it wont be an issue.

This is a really good product, if your ready to spend this kind of money. its small, doesnt weigh allot. doesnt get in the way when bumping up your stroller (as other similar products). easy to push up and down - when using or not using.

This is very good and adds great functionality to the stroller, but not as sturdy and solid feeling as the actual stroller itself. It has a kind of toy feel to it and sounds loud when it rolls (like a really cheap skateboard). That said, if it was really solidly built it would prob be too heavy and make packing the stroller much harder, so I’m Ok w lighter and cheaper as long as it doesnt break while my daughter is on it (holding up fine a few months into using it). This folds surprisingly well but does add a bit of weight and bulkiness to the stroller when folded. Be ready to have a little more strain on your back every time you load and unload the stroller from the car. Lastly, I would only use this with the extension kit upper adapter to make room between the seat and the child standing on the piggyback. Without it my 2.5 year old would not fit very easily. Also keep in mind that the child really doesnt have any view — she’s just looking at the back of the seat. That said, my little one still loves riding on it and never complains about the view!

The board and seat are at awkward lengths. You need the perfect age difference for this to work with a kid in the seat and one on the board.

This skateboard attachment has been awesome. My 2.5 year old absolutely loves it. I thought we would use the stroller in its done form when we had a second child but my first stopped liking a stroller when he was around 18 months. This is perfect, he thinks its so cool, and he can jump on and off as needed. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5, is that its a bit hard to walk behind because it sticks out so far. When we use the skateboard, we usually just push the stroller one handed and stand off to the side.

No room for full length stride, so you either have to extend your arms or push the stroller with one arm while walking on the side. The Vista is pretty easy to maneuver so not the end of the world. Also unbalanced if you are pushing with the car seat (Mesa) and have the toddler standing on this - can tip over easily.

For your oldest independent walker who likes an occasional ride, the piggyback is the perfect solution. Just attach to the back of your Vista and you are ready to roll. Quick snap on and off attachment. Conveniently lifts out of the way when not in use. Stroller can fold up with piggyback attached. Made from natural, eco-friendly wooden material. Non-skid surface prevents slipping. Weight limit: 50 pounds.
