> 3 dayThis is easily my favorite deck building game I own. You build a deck by using character cards of characters from the first four films. You work together or by yourself to successfully complete objectives and survive multiple alien attacks. Ive played through the first 3 films, each having their own objectives that follow each films story, and have not survived a single game. That doesnt stop me from playing it again and again. The only downside I have is some of the art isnt great. The characters look weird, but thats totally fine with a game this fun.

> 3 dayI like it, but I do have some issues. First, the general information and good: The package adds much more gameplay to the already existing Legendary Encounters: Aliens. The game comes with two new missions which are exclusive stories to this game, two new characters for each of the existing campaigns, more Ripley cards, new drones, strike cards, avatars, hard mode to each campaign, and a playable queen with her own barracks deck, alien cards and play mat. The new barracks characters are great because they add new abilities to the deck and can be swapped out for others. The new campaigns or missions are fun and the new aliens and hive cards give aliens new abilities to add more challenges. Those new avatars have some really cool abilities. The given: cards come in four separate sealed packs and are not in any order, just like the core game. However, since you have separated the core game, it is far less confusing. The game also comes with dividers and foam blocks to separate the cards and organize. All the expansion cards do fit into the old box. The bad: this games biggest weakness to me is set up and take down times. These new cards do nothing to reduce that, but actually increase the time it takes to set up and take the game down. The new cards change how the entire game is played regardless of whether or not you use the new cards because, drone decks are set up differently and you can only have 4 characters in your barracks deck (you can have 6, but that is if you are playing with one player as the queen). Now you have to separate the barracks characters if you plan on swapping out any of the characters for new ones. You also have to be careful because some characters lack certain qualities, like stars, that make the game more difficult. Also, the card quality appears to be the same as the original game, so buy sleeves because, based on my original game, the card quality will go bad fairly quickly. In all honesty, this game is still a blast and with the new cards adds more depth to the game for more replay-ability. However, set up and take down, to me, have always kept me from playing this game more and this expansion just made it more of a pain. That is the only reason it is a 3 and not a 5 star review. I get excited about playing, then realize I spend more time setting up and putting it away.

12-06-2025Legendary Encounters: Alien quickly became one of my favorite games to play. After several playthroughs I decided to seek out the expansion and Ive been very happy with the content. This expansion adds more missions and hard modes for each mission including hard modes for all the base game missions, which I thought was great. This is the first Legendary game I have purchased where I did not have enough dividers for the cards given. Luckily enough, I had plenty from my other Legendary games, so be aware of that. If you enjoyed the base game Legendary Encounters: Alien, I highly recommend picking this up as well.

Greater than one weekWhat a great expansion! This expansion allows for another player to play as the Queen complete with her own decks and playing mat. I typically play this game solo though so you can utilize most of the cards in that way as well. If you are familiar with Legendary Encounters then you could certainly come up with some variations for many of the cards too. Its a lot in the box and worth the money no matter how you play the game.

Greater than one weekMissing cards! Yup I said it. Iv seen reviews and heard the horror stories of people missing cards and after buying the base game of Legendary Enounters: Alien and having no missing cards I thought it couldnt be true. Sadly after opening and searching and recounting cards and the box 3x, I am missing 8 cards. I checked online which ones I was missing and they completely left out the 8 Agendas cards for multiplayer. I emailed Upoerdeck and reported my case with my receipt of the game and the cards that were missing. They wrote back within 4 days. They replied saying they will be mailing the missing cards to me within 2-10 weeks!! Pretty broad time but none the less, it seems itll come. The expansion itself is amazing! Great artwork and plenty more of replayablitly. I feel it was worth the purchase just giving 3 stars for the hassle.

> 3 dayI have to recommend this expansion. There is a ton of content. I already love LE Alien. This expansion adds more drones, strikes, and locations. My favorite part, the addition of a Hard Mode for all previous locations and Soldiers. If you want to amp up the difficulty level for the base game, you must have this. I am a player that doesnt want to win all the time. These new materials will ensure that doesnt happen often. All of the expansion cards will fit in the base game box. There are enough dividers for the new cards. I could not get the new mat to fit in the box though.
