> 24 hourFirst off, I was impressed with this kit. The supports are made of ~1/4” thick steel, and powder coated. I was also impressed by the fact that the included hardware was stainless, albeit Chineseium stainless. The fit was great, the instructions were junk. I took many pics to help buyers install. First and foremost, this kit DOES NOT install on the hood. Okay, that’s out of the way onto the instructions: Tools needed: 10 mm wrench/socket for fender bolt 13 mm wrench/socket for hinge bolt 7/16 (or 11 mm) for mount nuts Ratchet, preferably one with a flexible head Step 1: remove the 10mm head fender bolt, and loosen the 13mm hinge bolt about 1/4” (pic #1) Step 2: attach bottom part of mount (pic did not turn out for this). To identify Driver/Passenger side mounts, the inner stud on the mount should be more towards the front of the vehicle. I kind of outlined this in pic #3. Step 3: attach upper mount to lower mount. To identify Driver/Passenger for the upper mount, refer to pic #2. The edges of the upper mount will align parallel to the edges of the lower mount (red lines on pic) Step 4: secure upper mount to lower mount. Use supplied washers, followed by lock washer and the. The nut. I recommend ditching the Chineseium hardware, and replacing with a 1/4” washer, and a 1/4 - 20 thread lock nut, both in Stainless. You will need in total 4 washers and 4 lock nuts. You can thank me later for this. Luckily I had a trove of stained hardware in my garage to use. The wrench size for the nuts is 7/16. An 11 mm will also work for this size. When tightening the nut, I tried to make sure that the upper mount stayed as far back as I could get it to avoid any nonexistent interference with the hood. Step 5: repeat as necessary for other side. I included the other pics for installation reference. If installed properly, this kit will very neatly clear the OEM radio antenna. There is also plenty of hood clearance, both opened and closed. My only complaint (other than not including lock nuts vice lock washers) is that once I mounted the lights, it actually looks like they lean in towards the center of the truck - though it may just be me, as I just got done installing these after working a 12 hr night shift. I’ll throw the level across them when I wake up and I’ll use the ole’ channel lock bender to straighten if needed. Final conclusion: really impressed with the kit. The mounts are very ridged. Can’t wait to try my new lights on the trail.

> 24 hourHeavy gauge metal. Did require a good amount of trimming to make it not rub on the hood in two spots on each mount. Had to grind down the first bend from the bottom and cut a semi citcle out of the second vertical section from bottom. Other option would be to trim the black plastic below the windshield to allow the mounts to be pushed back but i didnt want to alter the truck. Overall still happy with them.

> 24 hourMounts seem sturdy, passenger side mount has a weird little bend to it as a couple other reviews said, doesnt quite accommodate my bullet antenna and, the light doesnt sit level, and the mount touches the hood ever so slightly but i will tweak it to fit better. Faster than fabbing them myself. Overall they are alright.

> 24 hourIt would be great if the lights would sit level with the truck. The brackets are bent inboard causing the lights to sit canted, not level to the truck, or the ground.

> 24 hourDriver side bracket seems to be bent down a bit and packaging wasn’t great. Opened it with scratches and paint chips on the brackets but other than that they’re strong and sturdy. Easy to install and I can still open my hood all the way up without it hitting my lights or the bracket. Read somewhere you shouldn’t put big lights on it but I haven’t had any issues with these 4” rigid pods. They don’t bounce or shake.

> 24 hourThe mounts to the fenders fit great. Used my own hardware to mount the top bracket. Driver side fit great and was level with the plastic. The passenger fit horrible, it hit the hood and wouldnt work with my antenna. Ended up making it work by bending and heat like another review. Overall they work, I know my ocd will get to me and Ill buy different ones but I do like the look.
