I have a MacBook Pro 16 and have gotten incredibly used to having a second monitor... which means I was stuck in my basement office to work... effectively meaning there was no point to the laptop and I would never see the sun again. ;) Thats not how it turned out, though! Im brand new to portable monitors, and I must admit that Amazon has a nearly overwhelming number of options, especially in the 15.6~15.8 range. I did learn, though, that the lag time (measured in milliseconds) is a key thing to keep in mind... and what was funny is that as I read about features, and then explored price, I kept coming back to this same Upperizon portable monitor... its a good size (15.6), a nice matte finish that doesnt give a ton of glare, comes with a magnetic cover, and then the key thing it is one of the lowest lag times at 3ms... it says it cant go up to 5ms in lag, but that sounds the slowest it can go, thankfully. Its simple... if youre perhaps on a budget, but for sure would benefit from a portable monitor, I urge you to dig into this one... from at least what I learned in my looking, this monitor seemed to check off all the main things I was seeking, including price. Really the only thing I have noticed was that when I am outside and its sunny out, the screen does appear dimmed slightly, but its an IPS display which is a technology that can stand up to sunlight for the most part anyhow... just overall I would recommend this portable display. Sure its not the most feature-rich one out there, but I tell you... if you just need a great portable monitor and a fair price to go with it, this is the one. Included with your purchase is also a free gift, which is cool... you can pick from a foam sleeve-case for the device, an Anker Power Bank, and a couple other options. Totally free; they didnt even charge me shipping. I also have to say that I wrote them and they replied within 24 hours, which is impressive for sure.

This monitor works amazingly well. With the USB-C to USB-C cable, I connect my laptop and the monitor and it doesnt need a separate power supply. The quality works well and moving programs from one screen to the other is seamless (make sure to change your display settings). Depending on my setup, I want to close the gap between the monitors so I actually turn the Upperizon monitor upside down and change the screen settings to flip 180 degrees. I usually use the folding case cover that came with the monitor but my friend brought a stand so I tried it (shown in the photo). Ive been using this monitor 4 days/week for the past two months and havent had any issues. One thing I notice is my USB-C docking station doesnt work with the monitor but it might be due to the docking station being a cheap knock off, so I connect the USB-C cable directly to the laptop port. I am able to consistently use my fully charged MacBook Pro, monitor attached, and connected to a SolisLite hotspot, for over 4 hours of work without having to plug it in. By the way, if you have this monitor connected and youre trying to play a video, keep in mind that this monitor has its own speakers so you need to turn the volume up on the monitor. As a perk for buying this monitor, Upperizon also sent me a sleeve which fits my laptop, the monitor, small portable keyboard, and all the cables I need so I have my full setup in one bag. Perfect! As I plan to work while traveling throughout SE Asia, I will definitely bring the portable monitor because everything fits in one bag and having two screens is much more effective than one. Additional perks: I e-mailed the company and they gave me a two-year warranty and 10% off my next portable monitor purchase (this will definitely come in handy when we need to buy another one).

When I came across this monitor I wasnt expecting much until I received it and hooked it up. This monitor is better than I expected. It has freesync, hdr, and run @1080p 60fps. The quality is great, and it pairs well with my Xbox Series X/S and PC, so Im sure it run great with the Nintendo Switch and PS5 as well. I love the weight, size, and the fact its portable, and compatible with my phone so I can watch movies, shows, and play games (Xbox Gamepass) on the go. Also, the price is really convenient if you dont want to spend a lot of money on a monitor that does the same exact thing as this one. I brought 2 of these; one for me and another for my wife, and she also loves it. I will be getting another one real soon.

I purchased this to use while I worked away from home for a week. It was exactly what I needed to extend my laptop screen to manage multiple applications and maintain comfort and efficiency. Because I ordered it late, I had it shipped to my destination but minus the excellent packaging it slipped back into my luggage for my return flight with ease. The monitor is well built and light weight and has very good picture quality. The speakers are terrible because they have to be so tiny, but I could care less about that. If you need a mobile monitor that is easy to pack and light to carry, this item solves your problem.

I got this monitor to use when I travel and it has been the greatest investment ever. I am so much more productive using the monitor as a second screen. It is so easy to connect with the USB-C cord that is provided and the screen quality is great. It is so thin that it fits perfectly in my travel bag without adding hardly any bulk. The magnetic case protects the monitor when Im traveling and serves as a stand when the monitor is in use. Great support and warranty from the supplier is an added bonus. I would buy this monitor again many times over!!!

I use a work issued laptop so even though it would be nice to have something I can keep attached to my laptop, I dont have the option to put adhesive to attach a second screen to my work laptop. It is GREAT to have this second screen! Its actually bigger than I thought (thats what happens when you dont read the description thoroughly), but I really love it! It has its own speaker which scared me at first (another piece of evidence that I didnt read the description thoroughly). The other bonus of it not being attached to my laptop via adhesive is that I can use this for my personal laptop and my phone too!!! Very easy to use...it was plug and play for both my work and home laptops AND my android phone. Havent tried it with the iPhone yet because it didnt come with the connecter for an iPhone. The only downside is that I would like the cables that it comes with to be a little longer because depending on which side your laptop has the ports, it is a little short so I have to run the cable in the front instead of behind the monitor screen for one of my laptops. It hasnt bothered me enough to buy an extension...at least not yet! I got it on sale so it was a good deal but it would be a GREAT deal if you can find a deal on Black Friday! I may get a second one just to leave at work!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone that’s looking for a portable monitor. It’s thin and light, and it easily fits in my laptop bag alongside my laptop. I also love that it comes with a case and an assortment cables to connect to the various ports found on today’s laptops and game consoles.
