> 24 hourI purchased these to clean our Keurig 2.0 K475, that had quit working properly. I dissolved two tablets in warm water the added it to the water tank and filled it to the point where it would pull the water through. After I was sure the solution was in the tubing I unplugged the machine and let it set for about an hour. I have a reusable carafe filter that I use for cleaning so I put it in and ran the rest of the solution through. I then ran three more tanks of fresh water thou it, then I cleaned the needles as directed by Keurig. I could not believe how this cleaned the Keurig, it is working like new. I then decided to try it on my saeco primea ring cappuccino automatic espresso machine. My machine didn’t need descaling but it has a coffee cleaning cycle so I ran this through just like I had in the Keurig. After the liquid was running though I paused the machine and let it set for an hour then started it again and watched all the dark water coming through I ran two cleaning cycles and then two more with just water at this point it was running clear and clean. This stuff is great and inexpensive enough to be able to use weekly to avoid any problems.

> 24 hourWhen I bought my machine it came with a few tablets to clean the system and after I used those up I started looking into getting more. However, the brand-name ones are so expensive for how many tablets you are getting. This is the same thing and you are getting more for your buck.

> 24 hourSo these last forever, as most people dont have to clean their machine as much as a restaurant does. I worked at an Italian restaurant and this is what we used to clean our espresso machine, you can also get the lose powder and sprinkle and soak coffee pots. I HIGHLY recommend as it removes the need to do any scrubbing (as long as you keep up with it routinely) BUT even if you have a commercial coffee pot that hasnt been cleaned in forever add some of this stuff in with HOT water and let sit for about 15-20 minutes, I guarantee when you come back a simple wipe and thorough wash is pretty much all you will need. For commercial coffee machines that make the difference in taste in your coffee in your restaurant. If you are reading this review and you ARE a restaurant I implore you to PLEASE PLEASE, make it a CONSISTENT habit to actually cleaning your coffee pots, there is NOTHING worse than tasting burnt old coffee after I have paid for a really good meal. As a customer I promise you if this happens I will NEVER come back. Off of my soap box and back to product review. As I mentioned these tablets for use to clean your espresso machine do an excellent job of breaking down residue which easily leads to clogs and malfunctions. If you have a Dual wall filter and are having problems. Here is a tip. 1) Run a clean on the machine like you normally do using the rubber insert for backwashing/ cleaning. 2) take a 2nd tablet and run it through the dual wall filter and let it sit then run more hot water through again. If this STILL doesnt work boil some water in a small pot and add your dual wall filter and another tablet. If you keep up with it regularly, you shouldnt have to worry about it. If you dont, buy a new filter and remember to do the above steps whenever you clean your machine. Long story short, these are a must if you own an espresso machine.

A Tabby in Curlers
> 24 hourWorks great. I use them every week & the first few batches of espresso taste glorious. The best part is there is no aftertaste I used to have by cleaning with water, baking soda or vinegar. Yuck! That vinegary taste was hard to eliminate, even with many water rinses. My first few batches were undrinkable using vinegar, so these cleaning tablets are wonderful. My only fuss is the directions are only in Italian & for some reason, online translators dont translate the IT to English very well. So, after asking an IT friend, here they are... I use 2 tabs for each cleaning for an espresso machine, but youd only need 1 for a drip coffee maker. 1. Fill the tank with the max amount of water & place 1 pill in the glass carafe to let the water run through the espresso machine & dissolve the pill in the carafe. Pour that water into a bowl & soak the metal basket pieces (2 pieces, which hold the ground). 2. Do a 2nd round of the aforementioned, then take that hot water with the dissolved pill & pour it into the machine again. Turn on the machine, let the water come through just a bit, then turn it off & let it soak for 30-min. 3. After 30-min, turn on the machine to let all the water run out. (Note: I always get a giant puff burst of built-up steam, so be prepared for that... it startled me the 1st time). 4. Wash the basket pieces & carafe with hot, soapy water & wipe down the underside metal plate of the machine, where there will be some old coffee buildup. 5. Pour the max amount of water into the carafe, pour into the tank & let it run through to thoroughly flush any remnants of remover from interior of machine. Complete 3-4 times. 6. Wash, rinse & wipe clean all pieces again. Youre now ready for another week of great tasting coffee. Enjoy!
