Purchased same art supply for three grand kids, ages 6, 10, 13, three different hpuseholds. Each loved it and took different paths to sketching, drawing and painting. Our kids gave me and the wife Kudos for getting the kids to put down their games and tablets for hours each day. 10 days in, they are still inspired...

I think this is a great beginner item for someone just starting out. Love the quality of it and it was definitely affordable!

The case was wood and heavy. The paints were easy to use.The pads of paper that came with it were thick . And the paint did not bleed through the back of the paper. Since it was a gift, I did not see my son use the crayons or pencils.

Great art set. I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Comes with two sketch pads and a great case.

This is a nice set for a beginner. I didn’t get the larger set because I am not a fan of crayons. I like the coloring pencils because they give you more control. I am not sure how I feel about the oil crayons yet because I have never used them before now. Also have not used the water colors yet. Will post pictures later.
