I ordered this for my daughter to use with her new gaming laptop---much simpler to be able to pick it up and go when you only have to unplug one thing instead of all the cords and dongles used by a wireless keyboard, mouse, and headphones. I particularly likely that this one has the USB-A inserted vertically. In my opinion, this makes it more stable and less likely to accidentally break the wireless adapters. She has been using it for about a month now and has had no issues whatsoever. Everything she plugs in works exactly as it should. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I would like if the cord were just a little bit longer, since it makes it hang a little bit if used with a laptop stand. That said, Im not removing any stars because this is fairly standard for these items and for the price its hard to knock it.

Perfect and easy way to add additional USB ports to your existing laptop. The cord is short but thats intention to avoid a mess of wires which I can appreciate. It works well and Ive had no issues.

Theres never enough USB ports. Now there is... Well actually these are all full too. But easy to use. Just plug and go.

Got this to get an extra Ethernet for my minicomputer. Wanted to go usb-c to get the bandwidth to meet ethernet speeds. Does a good job, recognized by my linux OS. As an added bonus also has spots for extra usb items as well.

I use this for connecting my games to my pc and use also listen to music through my usb etc.

I needed extra ports for my laptop. There is only one on my device and I need another port for my mike and my mouse. This one works great. My different devices all work well with no interruptions in power. This is also small enough that it is easy to carry with my laptop. too.

Everything functional about this item seems fine. The physical feel of the device seems cheap because the case is lightweight plastic, but thats not an issue of function. Do be aware that Android 11 and 12 software for Samsung and Motorola devices do not let me perform system updates using an ethernet connection - only actual wifi. This is a software issue and not an issue with this product - it will be the same for any ethernet connector. The ethernet connector is still useful for any other internet use, and can still be used for updating apps, just not system updates.
