Greater than one week9/15/21 I tested this product with my moto 5G Ace and it did charge the phone without heating the battery. The charger was moderately warm by the time the battery was charged but not overly so. My car charger for my G6 would get really hot trying to charge my 5G ace. So far this charger has worked as advertised. But I have only used it once. The charger and 6ft of cord are both well made IMO.
