Very solid. The cable isn’t super thin but nice and sturdy. It has a metal frame, which I really like. It’s a great adapter to have, especially with the thinner laptops not having Ethernet ports nowadays. Great buy!

Works great for what its supposed to do. Plugs in, and you can ethernet straight to your lap top or computer. Transfer speeds work for online gaming and video streaming.

I tested this Ethernet adapter with a recent model Windows 11 laptop on my home Ethernet LAN, copying a set amount of data (folder of photos) from another computer on the home network. I compared the results, measured in time needed to transfer, with the same data transfer straight to Ethernet port. The transfer with the adapter was 80% as fast as direct Ethernet to Ethernet.

Connecting with Ethernet is noticably faster than wifi. I needed this for Day trading. Its been a game changer.

This is a very simple and easy review because this USB ethernet adapter does exactly what it sets out to do. You plug it into USB and then you plug in your network cable and you are all set to go. I have this on a USB 3.0 slot on my laptop and plugged it into my gigabit router and I am getting full speeds right away.

Recently switched from cable modem to fiber, but wasnt getting the really high speeds with the wireless router and firewall. Used this to connect a CAT6 cable and my internet speeds are through the roof. Very pleased.

When I bought a new laptop, I was dismayed to find that it did not have an ethernet port - just thought it came standard. However, this USB converter has saved the day inexpensively and easily. Plug it into the laptop USB port, connect your ethernet cable and thats it. The plug-and-play concept makes this product easily worth the small price tag. Youll be back on the internet in no time at all.

I got this because the photos show a game controller saying switch. However in my testing I found out that the Switch is not compatible with Realtek chips. Other than that it works at gigabit speeds on my Windows machines I tested. So I think they really meant use it to connect to a network switch, not game console.

For some reason the ethernet port on my laptop quit working and Ive been forced to revert to using the wifi which is not very fast. This was a quick and easy fix to get higher speed data back onto my laptop without having to buy a new laptop, Many newer laptops dont even have ethernet ports anymore as well so this may be something I will continue to use even when I do end up getting a newer one. Its well made and should last a long time Id imagine.

So far the product has worked flawlessly. Ive had other adapters that drop the connection, not this one so far. Would reccomend
