> 3 dayI finally wised up. I was using a regular umbrella for sun shade because I didnt know they made UV protective umbrellas. Then I tried a different brand (cheaper) and I found I could see the SUN shine through it. So I tired this UV-Blocker Compact Umbrella, and its impossible to see the sun through the material! Wow! And it does finally allow me to be comfortable in the Southern California Summer heat. Thank you UV-Blocker for this wonderful product.

> 3 dayIts breezy here in Colorado. While this umbrella seems very high quality and opens and closes well, it turns inside out when a healthy breeze catches it. When redirected for the wind (and not necessarily to protect me from the sun), it easily pops back into place.

> 3 dayI think it is a great product and seems to do what it advertises. The silver color isn’t ideal, but that may be part of what makes it work so effectively. What is a big turn off for me is the huge logo on the side of the umbrella. I think it looks tacky and cheap. I’m excited to have a quality product to help protect against UV rays, but I wish it were a little more elegant for use during work… I may purchase a different umbrella for times when I’m with clients.

> 3 dayEl producto llegó bien embalado, se mira de buena calidad, lo acabo de abrir y usar. El tiempo dirá, pero por lo que veo, cumple con todas las características que dice tener. Muy ideal para climas cálidos. Lo recomiendo mucho. Vale lo que cuesta.

> 3 dayThis UV-Blocker Umbrella really helps bring down the temperature and blocks exposure to the sun. I used to use a dark denim umbrella for sun protection, but this silver material is superior. I noticed that I was still getting sun damage, even though dark denim does not allow much sunlight through the fabric. This silver material is even better. No sun can penetrate at all. I highly recommend!

> 3 dayHello, My review of this Umbrella is after using it about five times in Florida weather, including very hot (about 3pm) sun/humidity, I mean VERY hot and on a moderate day with mild wind gusts. We walked about 1/4 mile each way testing out this umbrella. Both my daughter and I tested it and together we came up with our review. I hope this is helpful. I had also just purchased a $15.99 umbrella from Walgreens a few weeks prior so I will do some comparison with this one as well. 1. First impression of this umbrella was that for the price, it was small in circumference and felt (when holding) to be flimsy. My Walgreens umbrella felt about the same. I thought I had purchased a more sturdy, well built umbrella but IMO this is definitely not the case. 2. The mechanical aspect of this umbrella was not impressive either, in fact, the rods (for lack of better term) that hold the umbrella material were made of what felt like the typical cheap plastic from China. 3. The handle is quite small as you can see in the picture. Quite difficult to hold on to even in the slightest of wind. 4. VERY difficult to close. In fact, I had to press it against my stomach or a hard surface to get it closed. 5. Okay so about heat deflection....I honestly did not feel any difference underneath my Walgreens umbrella than I did this umbrella. Sure wish I had better news but for us anyway, this umbrella was a big disappointment and seems to be cheaply built or a least not built any better than the cheaper ones. See my pictures for more information Thank you for reading and I hope you have better luck than we did. I dont see a link to post photos but if you would like photos please contact me and I would be glad to send them to you.

> 3 dayI have two sizes of this umbrella compact and golf, I LOVE them. You could feel how much it shields the sun from your body, you dont feel the burning heat on your skin. You could also see how dark of a shadow the umbrella makes compared to others.

> 3 dayI purchased this umbrella for a very specific trip to Saudi Arabia where the temperature was 115 at its peak and upper 90s at night. I knew what I was getting into hence I wanted to see how this umbrella would hold up against 1. Sun 2. Wind, and 3. Rough usage. 1. Sun. I felt an immediate drop by 7° in temperature merely by opening it and sitting or walking in its shade. It served its purpose for this, although I was expecting a little more comfort from the heat than I got after prolong usage. 2. Wind: there were two specific incidents when I feel this failed against the wind. Once was miserably. Against the wind gust it was weary but against the force of a suction fan in a tunnel, it folded. I feel this wasnt its best moment. 3. With so many umbrellas being used around yourself, there is bound to be clashes between some and you have to expect being yanked at times. This umbrella did good in the crowd overall, and never ripped or tore up. Although, it must be pointed out that there were some distinct tear markings by the folds after two weeks of usage. I was completely unsatisfied with that happen from normal usage and I hope to hear from the company why a $47 umbrella would wear out after two weeks. I used a UV umbrella my friend purchased from me last year. It was $12 but it lasted the entire trip. The arm broke on the last day but the canvas never teared once.

> 3 dayOmg my husband and I opened this and I t stinks to high Heaven! How bizarre they would use a fabric that has this stench. Can’t imagine sitting next to anyone holding it and smelling like dead fish. Sent back.
