I use this product every day when I take my walk. It is very hot here in Hawaii and it protects me from the sun and lowers the temperature about 10 degrees. Its also very flexible in the wind so doesnt get damaged as much as ordinary umbrellas.

Its only Spring so far, so have not been able to test the umbrella on intense days as yet. The material is thick and flexible, so seems like it will do a good job. I gave it less than a five star rating because it is a bit on the heavy side. I use an umbrella in strong sun and have done so for over ten years. Ive previously had a couple that were VERY light weight which is helpful when you are tucking them into a bag or holding it up for an hour or two. The lighter two came from travels in Hong Kong and were also much less expensive. I had the expectation that this umbrella, for the price, would have a great, lightweight frame. However, Im still basically pleased with it, and hope it will last for some time.

If you need an umbrella for sun protection this one is it. I live in Las Vegas so not much rain but brutal sun. Ive used this almost everyday for the last 5 months. Outstanding for sun protection and has held up well to strong winds. Its been worth every penny. Im about to purchase 2 more.

Me encanta. Te da una verdadera cobertura del sol, no traspasa el calor y te mantiene fresca. Son fuerte las varillas del paraguas pero me gustaría que fueran un poco más para que resista la fuerza del viento cuando es más intenso. Pero en general es fabulosa.

This is my second umbrella; I purchased my first one in 2015 which was much more durable. For the last three weeks I have used this almost daily to hide from peak summer city sun, but it already broke and does not open or close properly. The fabric corners are also already showing signs of wear. The umbrella certainly should have lasted longer than 3 weeks! Additionally, it no longer holds up well in wind as the 2015 model did. A disappointing purchase.

I’m in love with these product! No long ago when I learn that the silver material that this umbrella is made of, cover of (don’t recall the exact name of) but when I learn that is the real deal against protection from the UVA’s rays which are the worst for cancer and accelerating aging, buying this wasn’t a brainer. This is not your regular umbrella is a whole and not too big but enough cover protection, for the sun in summer time. I can perfectly fit the umbrella in my purse which is not big. I LOVE THIS UMBRELLA it really protects from the UVA the worst. People use regular umbrellas for the sun what they don’t understand is that they need the material that this product is made of, which is different from your typical umbrella.

I monitor golden eagle nests yearly for a research project on nest success/failure. This year I had a nest that had no shade, and unusually hot weather for our area. Since my viewing location was farther than the safe distance deemed proper for studying eagle nests without disturbing the nesting process, I was able to sit outside my truck in a chair with my spotting scope. My view area, however, had no trees for shade. I soon realized that sitting in 80 and 90 degree temperatures for 6-hours at a time was not only uncomfortable, but of course also unhealthy, even with my hat and sunblock. I decided to try this UV blocker umbrella, and what a success it was! This umbrella not only protected me from the suns damaging effects, but it also really did drop the temperature. I can not attest to how much of a drop it was, but it felt like at least 10 degrees. The minute I opened the umbrella I could feel a noticeable change in the heat. As far as the wind goes, the baffles work quite nicely, but only if you aim the umbrella so that the wind does not blow into the interior of the umbrella. If you are holding it so that the wind blows into the umbrella, depending on how strong the wind is, it may turn the umbrella inside out. Not to worry, however, I had this happen 3-times due to unexpected wind gusts, and it snapped back into place, with no harm to the umbrella, when I turned the outside top of the umbrella toward the wind. I am not sure how much wind it can take, but one of the things we do is monitor the weather, including wind, and I have used it in gusty wind up to 15-MPR with no problems, as long as I angled it so that the gusts would not catch the inside. This umbrella was well worth the price. My only problem was holding it over my head, while writing in my research log book, and data sheet. A longer handle would have helped me out here, but most people wont have that issue.

I have two sizes of this umbrella compact and golf, I LOVE them. You could feel how much it shields the sun from your body, you dont feel the burning heat on your skin. You could also see how dark of a shadow the umbrella makes compared to others.

I think it is a great product and seems to do what it advertises. The silver color isn’t ideal, but that may be part of what makes it work so effectively. What is a big turn off for me is the huge logo on the side of the umbrella. I think it looks tacky and cheap. I’m excited to have a quality product to help protect against UV rays, but I wish it were a little more elegant for use during work… I may purchase a different umbrella for times when I’m with clients.
