I have two sizes of this umbrella compact and golf, I LOVE them. You could feel how much it shields the sun from your body, you dont feel the burning heat on your skin. You could also see how dark of a shadow the umbrella makes compared to others.

This is a wonderful sun umbrella, the best quality of five I looked at. Every part of it is well made, the bottom spokes are standard. It shuts out sunlight very well and the vent on top keeps it from turning inside out. Last year a cheaper one broke, so I didnt mind paying more for better quality. The only part I would change is the handle which is a little short.

Protects from sun and heat, perfect size, and looks great too. I am a redhead who can now walk across the sand to the water or in an open field where before I would have to hide in the shadows. The only reason I cant give this wonderful product five stars is that while it is easy to open it is very hard to close.

I received first one broken. After trying another brand and finding their canopy still let a lot of light in, I decided to give this one another try. So I ordered this again, plus I was happy to find a medium size one just a smidge bigger, (I dont notice the size difference when I use), but without the compact folding. I hoped the simpler closing mechanism would wear better. So I bought two of these, the small compact and the medium. (they also make a golf umbrella umbrella, which I havent tried). Ive had both for a few months now, I predominantly use the medium, almost daily, and its held up well and is great. I love having it with a history of skin cancer and being in Arizona, I need this to walk dog or just go in and out of the yard doing chores during the day. Occasionally I use the compact, the size is nice if you travel, and I havent had any issues (or used a lot but I do use here and there). Im glad I gave it another try and the initial one that I received defective was hassle free to return and cost me nothing. So you dont have a lot to lose trying this out. Its been really great to have one of these.

This is my second umbrella; I purchased my first one in 2015 which was much more durable. For the last three weeks I have used this almost daily to hide from peak summer city sun, but it already broke and does not open or close properly. The fabric corners are also already showing signs of wear. The umbrella certainly should have lasted longer than 3 weeks! Additionally, it no longer holds up well in wind as the 2015 model did. A disappointing purchase.

I bought this to use on my lunchtime walks because I burn easily, even with sunscreen, hat, etc. Its a great sun blocker - no doubt about that. But the SLIGHTEST breeze blows this thing inside-out. Its a pain in the rear end to have to constantly swish the thing around so it pops back into shape, all the time exposing my skin to that which this umbrella is supposed to protect against! The fabric is nice; its small enough when you compress it down and it hangs in my office on a coat hook. But it pops inside-out FAR too easily. Im only giving it 3 stars because, in the rare instances where theres no breeze? It works like a charm. Otherwise? they need to fix this defect in the design.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this product. I’ve only had it for two days and it is already broken. The slightest gust of wind makes the umbrella flip inside out, and one of the spokes has already broken because of this. for the price point, it is made very cheaply and it is made mostly out of plastic. it’s not a cheap umbrella to purchase so I’m very disappointed I can’t use it comfortably because of how cheap it is made and is now already broken and I paid $50 for it. That’s very disappointing unfortunately. I wouldn’t recommend buying this umbrella.

This umbrella is amazing, I ve had it for a few months now and I seldom leave home without it. It is a quality product, the material is sturdy and quite pretty. I think the size is perfect for everyday use. I live in a small tropical town 30 miles from the ocean so the heat gets unbearable during the warmer months. I actually feel a difference while using it. I made a mistake when making my purchase, instead of buying one, I bought two and only realized my mistake when two umbrellas arrived. I was thinking of contacting costumer service to return one except my mother found the extra umbrella before I could see about returning it and she decided to keep it. She cant stop raving about it either. Best mistake Ive ever made.

I tested it and i could tell the difference of how it was blocking sun compared to regular umbrellas.

I finally wised up. I was using a regular umbrella for sun shade because I didnt know they made UV protective umbrellas. Then I tried a different brand (cheaper) and I found I could see the SUN shine through it. So I tired this UV-Blocker Compact Umbrella, and its impossible to see the sun through the material! Wow! And it does finally allow me to be comfortable in the Southern California Summer heat. Thank you UV-Blocker for this wonderful product.
