I love that the umbrella provides adequate protection from the sun and that it really does keep you cooler on hotter days. However, I have 3 different types of the UV blocker umbrellas and not a SINGLE ONE is wind proof. This is extremely cumbersome since most days seem to have enough wind to constantly turn the umbrella inside out.

Ordered one umbrella as a gift for a friend who has the unfortunate medical condition that she can not sweat. Since she can not sweat, she can get over-heated easily. She said can definitely tell the difference when out in the Texas heat when using this umbrella. She said she loves it! I then ordered two more of these umbrellas that my husband and I will use when we attend grandsons baseball games during the heat of the day in Texas. We like everything about these umbrellas! I have two sizes of this umbrella compact and golf, I LOVE them. You could feel how much it shields the sun from your body, you dont feel the burning heat on your skin. You could also see how dark of a shadow the umbrella makes compared to others.

I didnt realize the logo was so big. I bought it for ATLANTIS but returned it and kept the other one Id purchased that didnt have an logo emblazoned across it. Nice quality though

Amazing product. I took a vacation to Las Vegas, visited Red Rock Canyon, Nevada it was 114° that day and the umbrella saved me from unbearable heat and due to injury to my face could not expose scars to extreme heat or UV light and the umbrella protected me from all the elements endured at the Canyon. Worth every penny I spent. Highly recommend!!!

I have very fair skin and live in Hawaii so I normally not only wear sunscreen every day but also carry around a compact umbrella - useful for both sun and rain. I finally decided to splurge though and get myself something with real UV protection and Ive been very happy with this product. The double layer and UV coating make the umbrella slightly heavier and bulkier than your average compact but the shade you get out of it is well worth the extra effort. It is several degrees cooler in its shade, not to mention that Im in no danger of getting sunburned. The vents also do a pretty good job allowing you to hold the umbrella steady even when its a little gusty although there are limits, of course.

I received first one broken. After trying another brand and finding their canopy still let a lot of light in, I decided to give this one another try. So I ordered this again, plus I was happy to find a medium size one just a smidge bigger, (I dont notice the size difference when I use), but without the compact folding. I hoped the simpler closing mechanism would wear better. So I bought two of these, the small compact and the medium. (they also make a golf umbrella umbrella, which I havent tried). Ive had both for a few months now, I predominantly use the medium, almost daily, and its held up well and is great. I love having it with a history of skin cancer and being in Arizona, I need this to walk dog or just go in and out of the yard doing chores during the day. Occasionally I use the compact, the size is nice if you travel, and I havent had any issues (or used a lot but I do use here and there). Im glad I gave it another try and the initial one that I received defective was hassle free to return and cost me nothing. So you dont have a lot to lose trying this out. Its been really great to have one of these.

Havent tried this in super windy conditions, but seems like a well made umbrella. Folds up nicely so easy to store and take or leave in your car. I really dont care for the sun (or heat) much anymore, and dont like to have it beating down on me so very happy with purchase. Thanks!

We recently traveled internationally with high humidity and heat. Im fairly sensitive to the heat so we purchased the UV Blocker umbrella. I cannot say enough positive remarks for this umbrella. The auto open-close technology worked wonderful, the size was a bit larger than expected (when labeled as compact, but worked perfectly for 1 person comfortably and 2 people closely). The best feature for this umbrella is truly the temperature difference. We pushed it to the limits, but no matter the altitude or temperature, this umbrella stood the test. When people would join me under the umbrella they would say, it feels like air conditioning under here. As for me, I could feel a difference in the part of my body that was shielded from the sun by the umbrella. While the item is expensive, it is certainly worth it!
