They need to be applied to a smooth surface in order to remain in place. I had to install these on a brick column and screws were necessary to keep them in place. Otherwise, they worked just fine!

the product looks nice, but there is an issue, the sticky backing does not stay on very well on slightly curved surfaces in the rain.

Great value and visibility

The adhesive is much longer lasting than the reflectivity, mine were no longer reflective after 18 months, but hard to remove. The other reflectors on my post are years, maybe decades older, so I consider 2 years unacceptable.

I used these after installing 4x6 posts at the back of a parking area. They are a good size and easily installed using an electric drill and a box of small wood screws. The reflectors help visitors to see the perimeter of the lot with ease and work to prevent cars from entering a fruit orchard without the need, expense or inconvenience of constructing another fence.
