They do exactly what you want them to. Made of soft rubber and fit in port well. No excessive overhang, so you can put them in a switch and they dont interfere with surrounding ports.

These are perfectly suited for what I was looking for. I had initially ordered the harder plastic ones on Amazon, with the pull tabs on them. I wasnt very happy with those, and had to modify them to actually fit in one of my switches. I had not ordered these as I was hesitant as to how difficult they would be to remove. Once I ordered them, I realized how wrong I was. These are incredibly simple to remove from the port. Im keeping the other ones I ordered to use in a pinch. These will be my go-to port covers.

This are really great to put in RJ-45 ports to keep dust out. They are soft, easy to install, and remove. Have a device you just want to make sure you dont use the wrong port on? These are good for that too.
