I spent a lot of time looking for a wind up musical stuffed animal for my newest grand daughters arrival. I had normally bought my own children (now grown in their 30s & 40s) and all of my other grand children, each a Gund brand stuffed wind up animal, because they had perfectly sized cute ones that played brahms lullaby, but then they started making them with theae stupid flashing lights inside and movable parts and flopping and flipping ears, which is NOT what I wanted for a newborn. THIS stuffed elephant is exactly what I was looking for! Its a perfectly sized, wind up musical stuffed elephant, its got textured parts that crinkle and little silky tabs and its soft and way way cuter in person than depicted in the pictures on this Amazon page. I am extremely pleased, I love it, my daughter loved it and Im sure my new 2 week old grand baby will also. Buy this, if youre looking for adorable cuteness thats perfect for baby and something like Gund brand used to be, you wont be disappointed, I promise!

It plays music by pulling the hoop on her behind so it didn’t have a hard battery holder. At this age, she loves the tail and the crinkly ears.

This toy is super disturbing. What they don’t show you is you have to pull the tail out of the rectum to hear music. It retracts in a hole in the rear end of the elephant. How this made it onto the market is scary.
