The two outside zippered pockets are very useful and are large enough to hold the power cord, earbuds, pens, keys, credit card, drivers license, etc. I am able to use it instead of a wallet if I am carrying just a few cards (such as when traveling) and dont have pockets in my clothes (girl clothes are sadly lacking in adequate pockets). The inside is lined and lightly padded to keep the laptop secure.

After I received it I wasnt happy with how much wasted space was around my laptop and it made it barely fit in my backpack. After measuring my laptop it matched the dimensions for the 13-13.5 version perfectly and I can say it now fits without any extra room. It also fits much easier into my backpack. Very happy as I now trust my expensive laptop is well protected as I work in very harsh conditions.
