Needed rod for camper water heater. This 3 pk was perfect! Great value.

My old anode rod was very difficult to remove. I had an impact socket, but the walls was too thick to fit into the hole with the plug. The socket in the kit was perfect. The Teflon tape was a nice extra so I didnt have to hunt for an old roll. Five stars!

Does not fit a 5 gal tank. Could not tell from photos.

Magnesium anodes are definitely better than aluminum. This anode was reasonably priced, came with Teflon tape, and fit like a glove. So far, so good...

If you have never replaced the anod rod make sure you release the pressure in your tank prior to removing since the pressure in the tank could cause it to shoot out. I replace them every year to save the tank from corrosion.
