> 24 hourThis is the real deal! The minute you pick it up you know that this is a high quality product. It makes the multitude of products from China so inferior that you realize it in an instant. Better yet, is that it is a fraction of the size of all those clumsy and bulkier units that makes them so hard to use and control. This unit is a real pleasure to use and well worth the few extra dollars. Save your self a lot of aggravation and get it, you won’t regret it!

> 24 hourI saw this kind of solder sucker a few times and though hey thats a great idea, it looks way better than those 30 year old blue RS ones. so I bought one. it was bad. bad bad bad so bad. the plunger would jam every single pump. the end went flying. I threw it away. I then saw this one. It looked a bit different. so did some research on the company. turns out they make legit tools. This was enough to convince me to actually throw down money again on this kind of product. This is the one. it works INCREDIBLY well. fits nicely in your hand. The others were way larger and more cumbersome. Suction is extremely powerful and cleans most holes in one shot. In fact it can pull so much solder in one shot that cooled bits will likely pop back out when you go to reload so make sure to do it over a bowl/cup. Its easily reloadable and triggerable with one hand, not having to contort your hand in extreme ways to do it. It even comes with a couple inches of extra replacement tubing you can cut as needed. It also hasnt jammed on me once. 5/5 across the board. this works exactly like you would expect and is well worth the money. recommending this to other EE friends.

> 24 hourLitterally the best desoldering tool I have ever used (that doesn’t cost $1000) perfect compact size, excellent build quality and finish, powerful suction, simple design, easy to clean. My only concern is the silicone tube for the tip, I’m hoping i can order more because I have used a fair bit of it (I get right up against my soldering tip when I use these)

> 24 hourImma keep it short and sweet… great quality and functionality… its also very helpful that they included the extra few mms of tubing

> 24 hourThis thing feels solid, it has great suction, the silicone tip forms well around the solder joint, and basically its pretty awesome. I had an old radio shack solder sucker that had some stiff white nozzle that made it hard to get a good seal. Lost it somewhere while moving. Got a free one with a solder station I bought. Build quality was absolute garbage, it felt like a 25 cent giveaway at a convention. Had to buy a new one. Couldnt be happier and worth every penny.

> 24 hourJapanese made to higher precision and quality than similar no-name tools made in China. This little sucker (pun intended) does an amazing job for its size, and the replaceable high temperature silicone tip does indeed stand up to direct contact with a hot soldering iron, unlike the many plastic solder suckers I was using before. I mostly work on older, hand wired tube radios and such, work that is very similar to working on tube guitar amps and other hand wired electronics. I have also used it on some solid state electronics, and it handles circuit boards well also. Dont forget to get the pack of spare tip material when you order!

> 24 hourVery impressed, but fragile. So handle it like Cinderella slipper, hold it, play with it, talk to it, go to sleep with it but whatever you do DONT DROP IT

> 24 hourThis bad boy is easily the best solder sucker I have ever used. Ive used it to desplder keyboards. The desolder action is easy to perform and makes a giant task like 104 switches seem like a breeze. If youre not planning on buying a desoldering gun, get this instead.

> 24 hourWhen I first got this sucker... I was jsut starting to learn to solder. It didnt seem to work well. I switched over to the copper mesh. After getting more comfortable with soldering... I tried this sucker again. LOVED IT!!! I think that I was just trying to get comfortable with too many things at once, in the beginning, which wasnt helpful. I was trying to figure out how to get the dried, cold solder out of the tube (in the beginning), but I couldnt figure it out. What was happening is that I wasnt sucking any solder up (in the beginning)... so obviously, nothing would come back out. Now, it sucks the solder just fine, and then it spits it out when I prepare it to get more solder. (Dang, this can be tricky to write!) In the end, I love this sucker.

> 24 hourIf you really want the most from this machine use it a bunch. Just like learning to solder very well in takes some time. Buy some good solder wick with this purchase. You will pull so much solder that you may have to heat the end and use both thumbs to expel the solder in the sucker. Start sucking!
