> 3 dayBest of the manual solder vacuums. Well built, buy the spare silicone tubes. Good value, easy to handle.

> 3 dayWhen I first got this sucker... I was jsut starting to learn to solder. It didnt seem to work well. I switched over to the copper mesh. After getting more comfortable with soldering... I tried this sucker again. LOVED IT!!! I think that I was just trying to get comfortable with too many things at once, in the beginning, which wasnt helpful. I was trying to figure out how to get the dried, cold solder out of the tube (in the beginning), but I couldnt figure it out. What was happening is that I wasnt sucking any solder up (in the beginning)... so obviously, nothing would come back out. Now, it sucks the solder just fine, and then it spits it out when I prepare it to get more solder. (Dang, this can be tricky to write!) In the end, I love this sucker.

> 3 dayWorks well at removing solder. Much better than the rubber build type removers. Well made. Does not feel cheap. Smooth plunger and the release button is easy to push and the suction is fast. Cooled solder ejects easily.

21-11-2024I saw this kind of solder sucker a few times and though hey thats a great idea, it looks way better than those 30 year old blue RS ones. so I bought one. it was bad. bad bad bad so bad. the plunger would jam every single pump. the end went flying. I threw it away. I then saw this one. It looked a bit different. so did some research on the company. turns out they make legit tools. This was enough to convince me to actually throw down money again on this kind of product. This is the one. it works INCREDIBLY well. fits nicely in your hand. The others were way larger and more cumbersome. Suction is extremely powerful and cleans most holes in one shot. In fact it can pull so much solder in one shot that cooled bits will likely pop back out when you go to reload so make sure to do it over a bowl/cup. Its easily reloadable and triggerable with one hand, not having to contort your hand in extreme ways to do it. It even comes with a couple inches of extra replacement tubing you can cut as needed. It also hasnt jammed on me once. 5/5 across the board. this works exactly like you would expect and is well worth the money. recommending this to other EE friends.

> 3 daySo much mother than my old giant Blue classic one Much less painful to load. Supercool being able to put the clear tubing right on the solar to be sucked. And: vampires are cool

> 3 dayI do repairs on guitar pedals for work and have a nice Hakko Desoldering gun to use, but needed something smaller (and significantly cheaper) for builds/repairs at home. The build quality and feel of this thing is top tier. Easy in the hand, the plunger is easy to use, and the suction power is super powerful- the first time I used it, I was shocked. I ordered another one to use at work for harder to reach places on the circuit board. 10/10 worth the extra money

> 3 dayThis bad boy is easily the best solder sucker I have ever used. Ive used it to desplder keyboards. The desolder action is easy to perform and makes a giant task like 104 switches seem like a breeze. If youre not planning on buying a desoldering gun, get this instead.
