My partner and I are newish to soldering and recently made some mistakes while soldering mechanical switches to a keyboard PCB. Desoldering was a chore with the solder wick he had on hand, and actually pretty ineffective at getting solder fully out of the sockets. So I elected to grab this tool based on some suggestions online to get a solder sucker instead. What a difference! This tool made it easy to get all the solder out quickly and effectively. Easy to use, strong suction -- the perfect fix for our mistakes. Its like we never even made them.

I use this for my keyboard hobby and by far one of the best suction tools out there. Ive owned plenty of suction tools and this one is probably my favorite so far.
