> 3 dayI had a very difficult time trying to find a container the correct size for 5 pounds of cat food. Most were much larger or much more expensive. This fits a 5 lb bag of cat food perfectly and is easy to use. The lid fits snugly and the container is not flimsy. Glad I purchased this and would recommend it.

Greater than one weekPerfect for storing a 5 lb pack of food for my little bunny. Theres even extra space at the top and the food doesnt reach to the cover of the container at all. Very simple to use and perfect for what i need it for!

> 3 dayI use this for cat food and have the larger one of the same brand for bird seed. They both seem to seal well. This 5-pound one will hold just about 7 pounds of cat food. The lid is slightly domed in the middle so that even if it is completely full, there is still a bit of room to store a scoop in it and still close the lid. In fact, because of this domed lid you can effectively over-fill the container ~ think, heaping measuring cup. Good quality and design and a good price as well.

Greater than one weekThis is a great container for storing my dogs treats. It is easy to open and close, and it seals well when closed. I like the shape. Its shorter (wider) than other containers I researched. This allows me to put two types of treats side by side in the container without having to dig around for the one I want for my dog.

> 3 dayFrustrated that ants were able to contaminate the cat food, so I presume keeping the cat food fresh is also debatable.

Greater than one weekCould be a bit more sturdy, but otherwise exactly as described.
