> 24 hourFavorable reviews led to my purchase of this convertible soft backpack/suitcase. It impressed with sturdy zippers, useful zip compartments, the pretty cyan color, and expansion capability. I would buy again. Boyfriend & I used as joint carry on for “essentials” for 2 weeks in Europe, using packing cubes (bought separately) then checking one shared bag. I plan to use just this plus personal item next trip anywhere…. because airline did in fact lose our checked bag coming home.

> 24 hourThis 2 in 1 backpack/suitcase really is a must in every household! Even if you’re not a traveler, student or a hiker, this bag is perfect as a bag to have already prepared in case an emergency evacuation. You can fit SO SO MUCH into it. Plus, it’s lightweight.

> 24 hourMost backpacks that I had before, either came with bunch of different size sections and pockets which made it impossible to find what I was looking, or fewer sections, but if the thing I was looking for was at the bottom, I had to unload everything to get to it. This backpack solved both these flaws. It is built more like luggage suitcase than backpack, but it sits comfortable when carried as backpack. It has couple of pockets, for things like chargers or liquids, section that would fit laptop or something like that, and the rest of it is one big space for everything else. I just got back from our European trip where we moved 7 times between different hotels and apartments, and packing/unpacking this backpack really took very little time. Also because it doesnt have all of those useless sections and fancy pockets, it is very spacious. There is option to expand it, but I didnt have the need to do that. Materials used, stitching and zippers appear durable enough. So far I dont see any wear and tear issues. If you are flying budget airlines, obviously it is bigger than they allow to carry on for free, but in my experience they rarely measure if what I am carrying is reasonably small, and this backpack is reasonably small looking. So far I flew 3 times on budget airlines and it was fine. My ONLY complaint, it doesnt have a pocket for water bottle.

> 24 hourI paid less then $50 for this bag, and happy I did. This bag has 3 front pockets, 1 large 1 medium, and 1 small, with 2 that can be locked together. The large main pocket can also be locked. Of course, you must provide your own locks. The main bag is expandable. And has 4 compression straps, which is a must have for any soft travel bag. The construction is well done, with sturdy large zippers. The backpack straps can be hidden away in a large zippered pocket on the back of the pack. A nice touch. And the back has padding, and a large zippered pocket at the bottom, back of the pack. No seam issues with mine, so those of you that complain about build quality, are you purchasing USED product? For more info on this pack, read the information on the product post.

> 24 hourIve waited 6 months before writing this review, logging a few thousand miles in the process. This travel pack exceeded my expectations and is still going strong. I took it on a four and a half month trip through Mexico. I traveled on airlines, Mexican buses, taxis, and ride-share vehicles. Back in the states for a couple of months, I added a trip with Amtrak to the list. During the Mexico trip, I was determined to use only carry-on luggage. So all my clothes went in the travel pack; my laptop, meds, and toiletries and other electronics went in my day pack. The travel pack held up great and is still going strong. It adjusts for depth when you need to over-pack just a bit, and has handy compression straps that take the strain off zippers. It is well-designed and well-made. As a result, NOTHING BROKE. It has 2 sturdy carrying handles, so it can be carried either vertically or horizontally. It also has straps if you want to wear it as a back pack. These tuck away in their own pocket when not in use. Bottom line: this is a great piece of luggage at an affordable price. For a solo traveler on a budget, this might be just what youre looking for.

> 24 hourWill report more later should I have issues with the bag while traveling. Firstly, the bag does NOT look like the ad photo -- it is essentially a floppy backpack with no rigidity to it whatsoever; the photo causes it to look like it is somehow reinforced throughout (or heavily starched -- grin). Impressed with the size (advertised 40L) & the expansion capability of the main compartment appears to be a plus. It has 4 zippered pockets on the outside -- 3 on the back & one on the lower inside of the pack against ones lumbar area when carrying it like a backpack. The materials are somewhat durable appearing & I anticipate upcoming travel experiences will reveal how well made the backpack/suitcase actually is.

> 24 hourLots of useful pockets, everything well laid out and organized. Holds a lot more than expected, and the side clips are great to keep the load sturdy. Only issue I had was with the straps, which are a little thin. The edges of the straps started biting into my neck after an hour (inside was fully packed and heavy). Overall, this is a great bag for traveling thru cities and public transportation, but not so good for backpacking around all day.
