Vanicream Moisturizing Skin Cream, 16 Ounces

I have very dry skin from some meds I am taking and this was recommended and works very well.

My son & I both suffer from very sensitive skin with atopic dermatitis & eczema. This is such an amazing moisturizer for the body & even the face! No redness or burning sensation at all. Amazing product! Highly recommended!

I am absolutely in love with this product. I will forever have it in my home. It has helped SO MUCH with my toddler’s eczema. We put a Manuka lotion on first, let it dry, then this, then Aquapher and within 5 days, it’s breaking her eczema cycle. I had some dry skin on my face and this helped with that too. I’m soooo happy I found this and 100% credit it with helping her eczema. If you struggle with dry skin or eczema, GET THIS LOTION!

I went to a dermatologist who covered my back in these allergy circle patch thingys to wear for a few days, and she told me she knew I would be allergic to fragrances. My lips and skin break out with almost any creams or lipsticks. Most creams and lip balms have fragrances, and then there are some she told me labeled as fragrance free that will have a masking fragrance in them, which are just as bad. Vanicream has neither, so Ive been using it for years. Its so expensive that when I see a deal, I buy a bunch. I save the ones with pumps and when Im done, use them on the less expensive ones without pumps. I use it everywhere, including my incredibly sensitive lips, and nothing Ive found it as good. Its thick, which I love. When you find a good deal (anything under $12), load up! Great stuff!

This cream was recommended by a friend who worked 20 years for a dermatology group. It is what the group has suggested to clients for years. It moisturizes dry itchy skin. It even softens the calluses on my feet. It’s advertised as having no scent and that’s true, no scent whatsoever. It absorbs well in a very short time. I highly recommend this product.

I read the review about eczema and felt compelled to write. Many struggle to find a cure for this condition and we were blessed to break the eczema cycle on our daughter who itched constantly. We still use Vanicream today to help moisturize her skin. It had been 9 years and I do not remember all of the details, but here is what I can tell you. We learned from a local school counselor whose son had eczema bad. She visited the National Jewish Hospital in Colorado who specializes in auto immune diseases. Here is a general treatment summary. Soak in the bathtub (or hands if that is only area affected) in as hot as water as tolerable for exactly 20 minutes. Do not dry off, and on the hot spots, we dabbed a 1% steroid ointment---might have been elecon, but I cant remember. Do not rub in. On the rest of the skin, we smothered in Vanicream. We then dressed her in wet pajamas soaked in warm water (ringed out) and put two layers of dried sweats on her to keep her warm. She kept the clothes on for two hours minimum and when we took off, layered again in vanicream and rubbed it in this time and put on regular clothes. Do this three or four times a day (yes, it takes a commitment) At nighttime, we tried to have her sleep in the wet clothes as long as possible. We did this for 5 days and IT BROKE HER ECZEMA CYCLE. It is the only treatment I have ever heard of that worked. Steriods were getting too much, nothing seemed to work and we went to Cleveland Clinic, and at least 10 other doctors and all we heard was Steriods is the answer and It is a tough disease that she will have to live with TOday she is 15 and just has dry skin at times. My kid has eczema on his face and body. Doctor recommended this product to substitute Aquaphor he used before. So far it feels less oily compared to Aquaphor and did it’s job. I will wait to see its long term affects.

My mom suffered from some curious blood condition that compromised her immune system. We didnt know what it was, we just knew it didnt make her feel good and made everything an ordeal for her. One of her conditions was her skin was suffering and it was basically dehydrating, getting itchy and cracking. Needless to say, we did much research and came upon Vanicream. I initially thought it was one of those vaporous products they sell to women, but I was proven wrong. Vanicream ended up making my moms condition much more bearable. Vanicream returned her skin to normal, though I myself dont know what she was suffering from...one of those things you have to deal with living have the country away and working 40+ hours a week. But my mom is fine now, and I thank the makers of Vanicream for making a great product that worked for her.

I received this product yesterday and immediately put it on. With all the hand washing and hand sanitizering, my hands are very dry. A dermatologist recommended this product so I gave it a try. Its amazing already. I can tell the difference in my skin after one use. I will post an update if anything changes, but so far I am loving this product.

My sons pediatrician recommend this for my baby at just a couple months old who had eczema. Its very gentle and moisturizing and soaks in well as it dries. It has no scent at all, not even that unscented scent of old lady smell. Vanicream has a face moisturizer too but I have been using this on my face since I too have a little exzema. Of its gentle enough to put on my 2 month old, why not my face? It doesnt even cause acne for me and I usually have pretty picky skin on my face. Love this. We keep it in stock at our house.
