> 3 dayUpdate - this table, although I really like it, has a very annoying defect. From moving it around on short shag carpet, the locking the wheel latch continually goes into the lock position just from moving the table back and forth to and from my bed. Then I have to bend way down to list the latch back up. This would not be good for older adults with limited range. Previous review: Got this today - took ten minutes to put together - so far loving it! Impressed with how sturdy it actually is for something that has the table leg just on one end. It has a wide range of heights and is easy to manuever up and down. It takes a little pressure on top to put it to a lower setting, so for someone frail and in bed, they might need help; however, as long as someone puts the pressure on the right spot which is where the table leg is as opposed to the other end or middle of the table, then it flows smoothly. I bought this to roll around to different places as a laptop desk for my job. I can even use it as a stand up desk! The height for me is perfect to stand up at the tallest setting - Im 57. In a sitting position, its comfortable to rest my feet on the bar on the bottom. This thing is going to be sooo useful for me! Its the perfect size for my laptop, mouse area, and possibly something to eat/drink. . . the top is hard laminate so will clean up easily and last. I am so happily impressed. The metal frame is solid and sturdy - no lightweight aluminum here! Theres a nice edging to prevent things from sliding right off. I am very happy with this purchase. I got the Asurion insurance in case the mechanism stops working in the next two years. To get started, theres a very small screw that needs needs to be removed and replaced with a shorter one thats provided t allow it to lift and lower. I didnt read the directions to put it together, just did what made sense and it worked out great, again, in ten minutes.

> 3 dayI got it as a part of preparation for a surgery and used it for about 7-10 days after getting home from a hospital. It arrived packaged very well in a surprisingly small (thin) and light box. Assembly was quick and straightforward. Required tools are a screwdriver and a set of SAE wrenches or an adjustable wrench (surprisingly, the nut which had to be tightened was not metric). It literally took 5-10 mins to get it assembled. It is light enough to lift and carry to the second floor, and it is sturdy enough for some supplies which need to be at hand (e.g., water or medication or phone), for food, or to put a laptop computer or a tablet. The height is adjustable; the best way to adjust is to grab the tabletop with two hands on opposite sides along the length, concurrently squeeze the lever, and pull or push up or down. Adjustment with one hand does not work very well. Having said that, I never needed to adjust it when it was in use. I found that the lowest setting was the best, and, as a matter of fact, for my bed height, a slightly lower setting (which alas was not available) would work even better. The table rolls really easily on hardwood floor, I could roll it closer or further away with one hand. I found it sturdy and stable. Of course it is not designed for heavy loads, as tabletop is attached with 4 screws on one side only. Overall, it served its purpose really well and was a tremendous help when it was needed. I tried to use it as a laptop stand, but it proved a little awkward - the angle and the position of the keyboard was awkward, too high and too horizontal. I also used it as a support for a tablet to watch movies, that worked really well. One does not need to buy an expensive bedside table unless a long term use is expected because after recovery it becomes kind of useless, while during recovery it finds only a light use. Overall, I am very satisfied - no issues whatsoever. It does not look super pretty or fancy, but it does its job as a medical bedside table. Hospitals use much fancier ones, but hospitals also need much better durability and longevity from their furniture.

> 3 dayFor home healthcare, this is one of those essential items to have. The ability to raise or lower it to different heights is wonderful. It can also be used for a surface for procedure setup. It’s easy to clean.
