This item is super easy to install, sturdy, and even comes with a polarity adjustment piece.

Had some Harbor Freight solar panels that I wanted to start using while I was saving up for the EcoFlow solar panels - this worked out perfectly.

I used this cable to adapt a 100W Harbor Freight panel that only came with a SAE connector. The benefit of this adapter cable is that it also came with the polarity reversal adapter which is absolutely necessary to use when you are using this adapter to go to MC4. Theres probably going to be 1-3W of power loss when compared to straight MC4, but its a non-permanent solution that I was using for testing purposes. If I kept the Harbor Freight solar panel, I wouldve just installed MC4 connectors directly. Not much else to it, pretty good quality cable and it has a plug to cap it. Although the plug isnt long enough if you use the polarity reverser.

Received my new solar panel MC4 to SAE cable today. So far so good. No issue found. Appear as described. Look and feel as made with good quality material. Will update review if found different after a few month of use. Thank you.

I used these adapters to connect 3 12 volt panels in series along with a MC4 12 volt panel to connect to a 48 volt system. Works great.

I got 2 of these for my harbor freight solar panels so I have the option of adding it to my other solar panel grid. Not much more to say, these are great and work just fine. You have to kind of watch with SAE type connectors as its easy when you are adding cable to have the polarity switch on you. So be careful of that. make sure you red is red? Always check your polarity before you plug things into equipment, solar generators or charge controllers etc...

Have not had a chance to try but received quickly and connected well.
