This convertible garment bag is absolutely perfect for weekend trips away! You can neatly and easily store all your essentials and garments without stuffing the bag closed as you might with a standard duffle. This little bag is awesome. I went on a weeklong getaway and it was big enough to bring all the clothes I needed, as well as a pair of shoes - yet small enough that it fit in the overhead bin on the airplane (737). I did have to gate check it on my 2nd flight (Q400) but I believe it would have fit under the seat had I tried. Anyway, the stitching and zippers all help up well during my trip, and I was surprised at how comfortable it was to carry with the strap. This is a great quality travel bag!

This Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag is well-designed and will keep a suit or formal dress safe or wrinkle free even while its being used as a duffel bag. Its durable-feeling and not too heavy. The detachable shoulder strap is very sturdy. I also like that it comes in a black option which still has a Vera Bradley floral pattern on the inside. The only thing I dont like about it is that while it can serve as your carry-on bag to put into an overhead bin, its slightly too large (collapsed or as a duffel) to be the personal item that airlines allow in addition to a carry-on. Expanded, its 14 inches high, 20 inches wide and 9 inches deep. The maximum dimensions for most airline personal items is smaller than that (usually around 18 x 14 x 8).

Hard to work the zipper and the design was clumsy

I wished this bag had wheels once you pack it becomes to heavy better suited for light travel.

Love this Vera Bradley convertible garment bag! The best part is the way you can securely attach it to your carryon luggage and not worry about it falling off. As a professional who travels often with my colleagues, I prefer the solid black exterior color, but appreciate the usual Vera Bradley pattern on the inside. It’s a nice touch of style.

Vera Bradley always has super cute and functional bags, but this Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag is like the ultimate chameleon. You can use it as a garment bag, or as a gym, travel, weekend, or really anything else you could possibly want bag also! And what’s more is it also fold down pretty small so when it’s not in use storage is pretty easy. The quality is top notch, both the material and the zippers are all well made and don’t feel cheap at all. 100% would recommend!

This garment/weekender bag is FABULOUS!! I tried to do a video of how it works, but that function of the app isnt working right now unfortunately. This bag is everything. It folds into a weekender and its deep and wide to fit a whole 3 or 4 days worth of clothes plus the garment bag which has 4 loops to hang clothes. There is a large side pocket and a loop to put it over a rolling luggage. This is a wonderful piece of luggage. Its very practical and efficient. AND its also waterproof!!!! Get it! Dont hesitate. Itll make a fantastic Christmas gift as well!

I got this for hanging dresses for travel. Even short dresses were too long to fit in the hanging garment section.
