As far as makeup bags go, this is one of the best you can buy. The interior is lined with a thick clear plastic layer, so the bag is leakproof (important if you are putting your makeup in checked luggage!) and maintains its shape. The main compartment is quite large and could hold a lot of makeup, (including some eyeshadow palettes), or alternatively basic makeup + toiletries. The outer pocket is great for brushes.

This Vera Bradley Womens Cosmetic Makeup Organizer Bag is a nice size to store my makeup in while Im traveling, and its a decent size to fit a good volume of items. I like that theres a vinyl liner on the inside to make clean up a breeze if something spills or smears in it, and the quilted material is very thick and durable. The colors are vibrant and I really like the butterfly pattern on this - and it is built to last for years. Everything about it is very well made and of high quality - it gets two thumbs up from me!

This is truly a large cosmetic bag. Its lined with clear plastic, and the size is such that its almost more of a travel cosmetic bag for shampoos, hairsprays, etc. You would have to have an enormous purse to use this as a daily cosmetic bag. The print (Rain Forest Canopy) is not my favorite, but Im willing to let it go because of the function of the bag. The print is a bit of a throwback to the late 1950s or early 1960s, but it has quite a bit of bright orange that the picture Amazon uses doesnt pick up (see my close-up pic). Just be aware of that. The base of the print is a very pale pink. If you like the color combo, great! Im super happy with the bag overall and would highly recommend it, especially for traveling! ~Amy

Love, love this makeup bag. I’ve had the same one for years and it’s really ratty looking. This bag is that lovely butterfly blue pattern. It’s lined inside with plastic so if there’s any spills it can be easily cleaned. It also has a soft side zip pocket to slip earrings, etc into. Plenty big enough to put all your makeup in unless you need to carry a box full. And of course, it’s made with Vera excellence.

I get compliments everyday at work.... this is a practical bag for me... used to keep all my VS equipment in it and easy to clean the inside.

I especially like that the inside is lined with plastic that can be wiped out.

The size of this bag is outstanding. Its large enough to not only hold all my makeup, but also a hair brush and more. One could so easily take this traveling because it can hold everything. Makeup, hair brush, bottles of hair products, etc. The inside is lined so if youre like me and get your mineral powder foundation everywhere, it can easily be wiped out. And the tropical pattern is amazing for summertime! Its bright, fun and makes you want to be on vacation somewhere with a beach. Love it!

My granddaughter loved it for her cosmetics when she travels to horse shows.
