I like the pattern. It is smaller than it looks in the picture. However, it is a good size to hold items like small bottles of medication, deodorant makeup.

Covered head to two in plastic that you cannot take off it still works but be aware and know I warned you!!

This medium cosmetic bag by Vera Bradley is the perfect size for my skin care items when I travel. The main compartment has PVC lining so it will wipe up easily. Theres also a non-lined pocket on the outside of the bag. The zippers glide smoothly. Its a quality bag that looks beautiful!

I own a Vera Bradley Cosmetics bag in the size mini, and I have to say that this medium sized bag is a huge upgrade. The mini bag is perfect for touch-ups, it can hold a lipstick, a mascara, and a single color palette or two for blush and eyeshadow. This bag on the other hand, is the proper size for someone to go away for a weekend and carry enough makeup for a full face. It would be perfect for a weekend trip, where you want to look nice and need a little bit of each product, but dont want an enormous cosmetics holder in your weekend bag. I can easily see this bag carrying all of the previously mentioned essentials, plus concealer, highlighter, false lashes, and more. The bag itself has a bright joyful pattern characteristic of Vera Bradley products. All of the hardware feels strong and durable, and the inside is lined with PVC so that you dont have to worry about stains or spills. the outer zippered pocket is lined with contrast patterned fabric, as a Vera Bradley products usually are. at this price, I feel that this makeup bag is a good deal for a sturdy and beautiful Vera Bradley product. Highly recommended.
