The color is beautiful. I did my best to represent the true color in my pictures. The simplicity of design these makes them so useful. The quality of the materials and construction is what you are paying for with these. The small bag can nest inside of the larger bag when not in use. The interior is lined in a flexible plastic to contain spills or leaks that can sometimes happen with moisturizers and foundation. They are light weight and the clear plastic makes it easy to find what you want when it is overfilled with items while traveling. I love this set! Like another reviewer said, its not just for makeup. I use the bigger bag to keep all of my medicine bottles together. The only complaint I have is that I wish you could buy the bags separately, as Id love to just buy one or two more of the bigger ones. I ended up just buying another complete set because I love it so much, but thought of another use for a third. Oh well. :)

I love that Amazon sells Vera Bradley. These are great for makeup storage or stuff in your bag. I love that you can wash them.

I got these vera Bradley makeup bags to help me organize my makeup and skincare when I travel. When I went on vacation earlier this summer, I basically just tossed everything in a duffel bag, and when I started unpacking at my destination, I found a bath oil had popped open, and ruined several of my EXPENSIVE eyeshadows and setting powders. Being able to keep my compacts in these bags will offer them all the protection they need when I travel. As you can see in the photos, the smaller bag is about the size of my hand and a couple inches wide, and the larger one is much bigger. Both bags are lined with plastic on the inside, so if something in the bag leaks, it won’t ruin the fabric of that bag. That also makes cleaning them a breeze. Simply wipe out with a wet wipe. You’re doing something good buying them because they’re made from recycled materials, but you’d never know it. The bags both look and feel of premium quality. They have nice sturdy zippers, and the larger bag has clear windows at the top so you can see the contents. And they also carry that Vera Bradley label, which is that touch of class that you’re going for if you’re a fan of this brand. I have a train case for most of my makeup, but I’m a bit of a junkie so I can never have too much storage. I use the small bag for all of my eye creams and moisturizers, and the large bag I toss my daily favorites into so I can put together a quick look without having to dig around in my big makeup suitcase. Vera Bradley was always one of my moms favorite brands, and now I see why. It’s classy, functional, and just gives you that elegant feel. Yes, the price tag is a little high, but that’s the case with many women’s designer bag brands. You’re not just buying a makeup bag, you’re buying the eliteness. Well made & very practical bags for me, so I decided to order an additional set, I can see thru to reach in a take what I need easily!

I love using these VB cosmetic cases for traveling, keeping little makeup pieces, or event throwing little purse items for everyday. This is the first time that I have owned the see through cosmetic in the reactive fabric and I honestly think that they are very nice! I think that these are way more usable than the traditional because the insides of both can be wiped down, and they can be thrown into the laundry as well. So far using these, it is very easy to take a Lysol wipe and clean the inside afterwards. I think the clear case is nice to remind me what is inside, which is great for traveling because I do forget what is inside very often! I adore the flower print on the inside, its a gorgeous pattern that is very simple and sleek. I also really love the zippers on these cases, they are the big smooth zippers! Fantastic item, I would recommend these for sure!

Large plastic piece of the organizer was stained and I tried to gently wipe with a paper towel. No use, looks like that just how it was. Defective.

This is your basic cosmetics/travel bag. The grey heather pattern is quite nice and looks great in my humble opinion and my daughter, who asked for this set, really likes it as well. Additionally, there is a nice black, white and grey flower pattern on the inside of these bags. More about these bags. They are made from material derived at least in part from recycled plastic bottles. They are quite stiff and the inside is lined in the same clear plastic that the window in the large bag is made from. This makes them much easier to clear and provide a much better chance that bottle popping open in your suitcase wont spoil your trip. The zippers are quite chunky are work well with a large pull tab. I suppose my only gripe though its minor is that a self sealing zipper would have been preferable since the bag is leak resistant otherwise. (Yeah, says the guy who more into tech/hiking/camping clothes than fashion clothes.) Lastly, at $60 MSRP the price seems high for what you get though, again, according to me daughter this isnt some generic bag. Therefore your mileage will definitely vary based on your perceived value of the Vera Bradley name. In summary, a handsome but basic travel bag with a fashion name on the side.
