Does just what its described to do, and I now have some of my desk space back. Only thing to say against it is that it may be marginally lighter than space grey than the pics suggest. Not enough of a deal to subtract a star.

most of these stands are an eye sore this one looks like it was designed to cradle my Macbook and look very elegant
