I love that this has a trigger straper on it so you can get it exactly where you need it. It is also very easy to rinse off, and if you have a horse that doesnt like a bath, he will thank you for it. This shampoo is plant based, and paraben and dye free. It is a good conditioner for your horses coat. There is a medicated version of this for horses that need it. I have a paint gelding and this shampoo made the white parts of him really clean and bright white. I had been using mane and tail on him, but I think I like this shampoo much better. Its easier to use and easier to rinse off. I like it very much.

I have been very impressed with both this shampoo and the medicated version of it for my Percheron with dry, flakey, itchy summer skin. I used this on our Andalusian stallion and a palomino Quarter Horse mare with nice results on both. Our palomino mare has a thick, but fine mane and tail and heavy conditioning can render her tail limp and lifeless looking. This shampoo rinsed clean without any residue left behind and I felt good about putting a light coat of conditioner on her tail afterwards. Her coat is glistening, bright gold, and soft and her mane & tail are tangle free, but dont look droopy. My Andalusian stallion and I both like the trigger pull on this bottle. No dripping or extra shampoo unexpectedly at the wrong moment - say... on top of his head because I slipped and squeezed an open bottle by accident. This does a good job getting the green grass stains out of his grey coat and making him gorgeous for the ten minutes before he rolls in dirt again.

I have a 3yo with a chronic itch. I’ve tried supplements, lotions and other shampoos. None worked. After two weeks and four baths with Vetericyn Medicated, she’s itch free and the skin lesions are gone. Works great!!

Can broken which resulted in it getting everywhere during use.

This product should be a staple for anyone with horses or a horse. The spay mechanism is large, well made and makes it easy to spray over the back of the horse. After the horse is wet, spray the shampoo on making sure to apply to any dry, itchy affected areas. The foam comes out immediately, but is not super soapy. This makes is easy to rinse after the horse has be washed. This product is contained in a 32 oz bottle and has a nice scent. Whether you wash your horse regularly or give it the occasional clean up, this is shampoo product that does it all.

Smells great and easy to apply with squirt bottle. Much easier than squeezing shampoo in my hand while steadying a wiggling dog!

First, Vetericyn is a great brand and we make sure to always have their spray at the barn. This spray bottle is a very convenient for washing horses. I havent had to use it yet (thankfully). My daughters horse had some bad reactions to bug bites this past summer, and I wish we had had some of this then. Its probably another product from them that will be a staple at the barn.

Yep. It’s that time of year. Between using this shampoo and zapper the horses have clean healthy coats
