Bought these as the Honeywell ones were out of stock. I did not notice the smell that others are mentioning in their reviews. Honestly might continue to buy these over Honeywell as they are much cheaper!

Easy to install and work very well in my Honeywell unit.

I have previously bought and used the VEVA replacement air filter pack for HPA300. That was the first time I purchased the product and it worked as expected with no problems. I decided to buy the product again in mid April 21 and the HEPA filters I received was of poor quality. Soon after installing the new filters and powering on the unit the entire room was filled with chemical fumes. I remember reading reviews with users describing odors and off gassing for a few days so it wasnt a complete surprise even though my previous purchase did not have this problem. I moved the air filter unit from my bedroom to another unused room and let it run for 8 hours a day for the next 3 days and the odor did not diminish in strength significantly. I then started the return process and chose to obtain a replacement instead of refund. The first thing I noticed was that the replacement air filters were not properly boxed for shipping and arrived in a thin, gray plastic bag. There was some damage to the box resulting in a small dent in one of the sides of the HEPA filters, but the product could still be used. The source of the replacement is the same warehouse so I immediately assume that it would not be any better since it was likely to have been made in the same batch as what I had just returned. As expected, the replacement set of filters had the same strong chemical odor so I proceeded to try to off gas them for a while in the same unused room. 24-27 days of 4-8 hours of daily use later, and the chemical odor is still present at about ~25% of the original strength. Im just a few days past the return period so Amazon wont let me initiate a return anymore. Thats on me because I should have returned the replacement weeks ago but kept on letting the unit run and off gas hoping that it would improve if I gave it a just a few more days. Im just very disappointed that such a highly rated and reviewed product could fail such a basic check of quality control. The item I bought designed to improve the air quality ended up tainting the air it was suppose to improve so I will not be buying VEVA brand air filters again for my HPA300 in the future.

Value for money. Decent filters but bix was open and precut pre-filters did not fit well. How hard can it be to cut these to the right size?

These precision precut and fitted prefilters and HEPA cartridge filters are a great value. We especially appreciate the precision with which the pre-filters are sized to fit our Honeywell blower. The combination has helped us a great deal as we live in a forested area with very heavy pollen loads in the spring and smoke during fire season. VEVA filters leave no gaps around the pre-filters that allowed pollution to by-pass the air passages (as we have found with filters from other manufacturers). I make it a point to change the pre-filters on the first day of Spring, Summer and Autumn. Change out the pre-filter and HEPA cartridges at Winter Solstice.

These filters are always of good quality. I buy them regularly for my HPA 300. When I remove them, they amaze me with how much particulate they collect. But when I look at them, I realize that they are just paper cardboard and foam. The price should not be so expensive.

I liked how well they seem to clear the air and so maintenance free. I have had mine for 3 years now bought it because I have severe asthma and am mostly allergic to dust. Since getting this product I have fewer episodes the only time I really have one now found I needed to change the filters it was a month early but we live on a very busy county road. Would recommend it to any allergy sufferer.

The VEVA Replacement package is a quality product and one I will definitely buy again. The pre-filters are pre-cut and the thickness of the original filter, rather than the skimpy replacements that Honeywell sells. Differing from the Honeywell replacements, you dont have to use a pattern to cut a piece out to fit your machine - so much easier! The HEPA filters are easy to replace as well and the instructions are on the box and easy to follow. The cost is about half of Honeywell replacements and, from what I can tell, is of higher quality and easier to use.
