21-11-2024Not as heavy duty as others but good enough for me after a winter trip to NY

23-11-2024While we have had good experience with this suitcase, the only way to lock it is to lock the two zipper tabs together. In our experience with other suitcases, these tabs break off with the hard treatment suitcases receive. Well buy another but wish the locking mechanism was sturdier.

> 3 dayI bought this bag for my trip to China. I was walking to the hotel and one of the wheels popped right off!!! I am sad to say I wouldn’t be buying this bag again. Amazon did come through and refund my money without sending it back. It might be a good idea to get a different bag.

Greater than one weekThis suitcase was a champ for my 7 weeks of travel across Europe. Classy looking, holds up well. It was a bit large to do such a long trip with, but it always went with me in public transportation, fit in the trains, etc.

> 3 day***Update*** I used Gorilla Glue to re-stick the brown straps onto the bag and they have remained intact after a year of use. Although as it happens, little chunks of the faux leather have come out as it gets handled during travel. It’s expected though. Love the bag, it’s easy to spot on the baggage carousel.

> 3 dayThe AmazonBasics Vienna Luggage Expandable 28” Suitcase was tested on a one weeklong car trip in snowy weather, and was pulled over rough, wet asphalt. The video shows that the suitcase still looks and performs as new. The suitcase is very basic, with two large compartments, a shoe (or other articles) bag, and a smaller toiletries compartment. It can expand a bit. In air travel it should be relatively easy to pick out in baggage claim, but, unlike what some reviewers seem to have suggested (perhaps meaning the smaller sizes), it is not a carry-on piece; definitely checked luggage. I like the bag, and although I generally travel lighter than this, if I needed to go on a longer trip this would be my bag of choice.

> 3 dayThis suitcase is thicker than regular suitcases. It not only is thicker, but it also has the zipper to give it even more room. These can hold just about anything you throw in there. And they slide like they are on ice. Of course, once you get on uneven pavement and concrete, that smooth rolling is going to back down until you get to more level ground. I would recommend that you get some of those packers to keep things organized. Plus, it is easy to unpack when you have organized bags.

> 3 dayI loved the style and look of this suitcase and was sooooo excited to get it...only to be very disappointed. It is very poorly put together. The straps were already loose prior to ever using it for the first time.
