I found the CDs fascinating. The stories are told with an intensity and knowledge that makes you feel like you are there and in the action. The history part is enough to pay for the CD. Im sorry for all the disrespect that the Vietnam Vets had heaped upon them.

The stories of the Green Beret S.O.G. Medal of Honor Recipients were, to say the least, jarring and incredible. I had no idea! Learning that each member was sworn to secrecy for 25 years explains the long silence of these remarkable heroes.

I was privileged to receive and listen to this 2-disc set of the stories of the Studies & Observation Group’s Medal of Honor recipients as excellently narrated by former One-Zero of Recon Team Cobra, Keith L. McKim.

SFC Ret. McKim is an outstanding example of the bravery, selfless service, and honor of MACV-SOG veterans and their sacrifices.

Keith McKim does a great job narrating these riveting stories of bravery and courage. These stories will have you sitting on the edge of your seat as you listen. We are all lucky to have men and women like this fighting for our freedom.

First of all Id like to thank Mr. McKim for being such an eloquent story teller and sharing stories of the Vietnam War with so many. Hearing these stories of bravery were difficult and I cant image having to relive such horror. Im disturbed that our Government would keep the identities of these brave men secret for so many years. I was one year old when this war was going on and honestly was taught nothing about it in school. As I listened to the stories I was grateful I wasnt driving as I cried after each one. Im grateful for Mr. McKims sharing of the stories of our bravest men and for their sacrifices to keep us free! Im looking forward to more recordings! You may have read firsthand accounts of heroic deeds selflessly performed by men in combat, but there is something haunting and deeply poignant in Keith McKims narrative of the MACV-SOGs who faced what can only be described as the horrors of war.

I hope this person has a podcast. Amazing to find out the courage and honor of the most underappreciated soldiers of our time. If only Americans felt this way today.

Make sure to carve out some time for this. Once youve listened to the first five minutes, youll find it difficult not to listen all the way through in one sitting. I was born after Vietnam, but this album has given me greater insight and appreciation for what veterans experienced there. I feel like I can relate more to my father as a result.
