The functionality more than makes up for the steep price. For portability, it manages to fold over in itself, making the Quest more compact and save space in your bag; a definite must for frequent travel. Its comfortable, though not optimized for laying down and instead designed for more upright play. Ive frequently forgotten about battery problems with the Quest 2 thanks to this straps integrated 5600mAh battery. Minus the bit of questionable warmth when charging, its perfect for another three or more hours of heavy usage on my device. I would absolutely recommend this to my friends and associates as a Quest 2 upgrade, couldnt have made this any better.

My wife and I share our one Quest 2 which we bought primarily for Supernatural VR Fitness. There are times one of us dont get the Quest back on the charger in time for the next person to also enjoy exercising with the Quest . Its difficult to say how much more time the extra connected battery will provide but it really should give us plenty of a buffer in preventing an uncharged Quest from ruining someones exercise time. As far as comfort and weight, I didnt find the added weight of the battery too heavy and overall the strap was comfortable. Some say this battery head strap is more comfortable as it acts as a counter-weight to the heavy front but I didnt notice too much of a difference. No different might be a good thing if youre already used to wearing the Quest 2. I will say though if you dont already have an adjustable strap with the dial in the back to better tighten the strap (very convenient)...buying this one with the bonus of a battery at just a little extra cost is a no brainer to me. Speaking of battery. Charging is Type-C which is great but in order to charge the battery a charging block is not provided so youll need to provide your own charging block. But my real complaint is the lack of instructions on how to charge this battery head strap in the first place. There are detail instructions on how to connect the strap to your Quest 2 but its like they completely forgot all about the battery (the reason youre buying this strap). How do you charge the battery, can you use either cable, and can we have a full explanation of the LED lights while charging the headset or using the headset. I think I figured it all out, but Im not fully confident of the charging rules here.

This is a nice augment to my vr headset as it allows for additional untethered gaming. Pros: 1. Easy installation 2. Very good battery life 3. Instant upgrade to the standard head harness 4. Highly adjustable fitment and padded straps make for comfortable wear 5. Fits in my vr case so no additional bags or cases needed Cons: 1. A touch heavy especially when compared to similar smaller and lighter alternatives 2. Battery capcity is impressive (and extends gamplay over battery in vr) but it is not top of its class All-in-all I am very happy with this battery pack! It comfortably does everything it is supposed to do at a decent price point. Easy on the head and wallet isnt bad!

    Greater than one week

This one got taken for some travel time. Included a hotel picture of it folded up. Basically its all good across the board. Battery life is great, adjustment crank works well and doesnt slip, very comfy to wear. When it is folded is is still about twice as large as a quest with fabric straps. If youre trying to get this on a carry-on its something to think about. One thing to note is that it accommodates very large heads. Largest hat size is no problem for this strap.

This is a much nicer headset and strap than the one I bought two weeks ago. It’s comfortable and very adjustable. Make sure you pull out and lengthen the side rails Bc the directions are bad. Only complaints I had are the left side rail popped off during play and I assumed there was another port to plug into to charge the battery. Otherwise I really recommend it.

Weve had the Oculus Quest for a year now and its been great for everyone. However this additional piece is good for my head, it has a good cushion. I like how the battery lasts a little longer with this piece. We like it a lot.

If Im being completely frank with you, I had grown tired of the constant discomfort, I was having from my headset never being able to simply stay attached without shifting or sliding off. That was one of the main factors that prompted me to try this strap and I must I was pleasantly surprised it stays in place its very adjustable and the battery pack included definitely works as advertised. Sadly, I use my PCVR so much that my battery is drained regardless but for any of you that use VR outdoors youll be delighted with how much the pack carries a charge it makes it seem perfect for any situation where youre in need of portability. All in all, I was pleased, and I will admit there are times the straps accidentally come off but Im pretty sure thats more due to my own clumsiness than anything else.

I bought this to compare to the extended battery pack I got from Best Buy. The battery life stands up in comparison but there are a few draw backs. They fit is a little uncomfortable. Its like the band needed to be more rounded to better fit over your whole head. It seems as though this made it more difficult to lay properly over my head. In addition I did not like that this was bigger than the other battery pack I have so it would fit in my case. Good value for the cost but a few bugs need to be addressed.

I ordered the Vimetapro Battery Head Strap 5600mAh Compatible with Quest 2. It is February 17, 2023. Lets see if it passes The Final Test! +1) Most importantly, its not too heavy. With the headset on my head with this battery head strap, I cannot feel any added weight, which is really good. 2) Its comfy and well padded, even on the top head strap. All materials feel nice. 3) For people with big ears, you may have issues with ear clearance to the side of the straps. This is a common issue with these style head straps. -4) Its not super secure.. you can sinch it down until its super tight on your face, but if you move your head quick, the headset still shifts. I wonder if a molded back support wouldve been better than a cushion in this case so you could have the best of both worlds. $$) For $50, you get a battery pack purpose built for your Quest 2. Gone are the days of running a USB-C cord down your shirt to a battery bank in your pocket... wait... that was cheaper. I just want to turn your attention to the Zyber pack off Amazon here for $25 that works with all sorts of head straps. I havent reviewed it yet but if it is as light as this head strap battery pack is, then it might be worth a shot. This item earned a C- for Meeting Expectations at a very high price...
