Vintage Floral Miniatures Jelly Roll Collection 40 Precut 2.5 inches

I made a jelly roll twist quilt from this. I did substitute a few fabrics and used a white cotton for the 5x5 charm accent squares. The price for this jelly roll was excellent and I was pleased with the quality.

Easy to sew

I purchased this money saver jelly roll rather than an famous name designer or brand such as Moda. These are expensive and I did not want to spend this much on a guild mystery challenge quilt that I was not overly excited about but I wanted to be a part of the group. Hunting thru loads of quilting sites, I ran across this jelly roll on Amazon at a good price. Was quite surprised at the variety of fabrics it included and the overall quality of the fabric. I just may end up loving it when finished.

I know people use these for quilting, but my sewing skills have always been along the lines of Suzanne Sugarbaker getting her hair caught in the sewing machine while trying to run up drapes, so this kind of thing is more MY thing. It would be nice if there were more patterns included in each package, but its good fabric that is easy to handle, and the gift is that the edges are pinked. Ive made one of these rugs with all T-shirts, and thats a separate story, and with scrap fabric, and I dont own pinking shears, so the scrap fabric one looks like its covered in hair because of all the threads. Price is very competitive with craft stores near me.
