> 3 dayPurchased this bag as a gift for my son who is in college. He loves the bag. However, the strap broke after 2 weeks of use. Contacted the vendor, they were so helpful, they bent over backwards to help. They said they would send a new strap just like the one we purchased. We sent them a picture of the broken strap and they sent a return picture of what they were going to send. I approved and next thing you know it was delivered to our house. Also my college son really likes the bag, it is sturdy and carries his computer and other college materials. The bag is a solid buy. Hopes this helps.

> 3 dayPicking one of these briefcases is a hard choice as there are many similar ones from the first view but they all differ in the details that are the most important. Overall I am very satisfied with the briefcase, I carry two laptops, a few folders and other minor things, and it doesnt feel full or stretched. Also very good price for the value.

> 3 dayOk. Let’s start off with a little honesty. This is not really a briefcase. It’s a giant Mee-Maw purse for men. Even so you can still look plenty badass carrying it despite the fact it is packed with tissues, chewing gum, nail clippers, medicine bottles and old lottery tickets, and it will still safely hold your laptop and wireless mouse. The organization is pretty decent but not perfect. It has a compartment with a magnetically secured flap on the side. It has nice pockets for pens, knives, magnifying glasses, and a few basic hand tools. This would be where you will want to store that leatherman multi tool that you always thought you might use. There are two very well made zippers on top that work with almost no fuss. They are massive, and I doubt they will ever pull apart even if you abuse them. If they do ever get a little sticky, I would put a tiny drop, maybe two, of light machine oil on the zipper pull to lubricate it. Inside the zippered compartments there are panels sewn in to separate the contents. This is where you would put your briefs. Not your tighty whities, I’m talking about the legal papers. Just read “The Pelican Brief” if you do not understand. If reading is not your thing, watch “My Cousin Vinny.” You will not learn what a brief is, but it’s a funny movie, and even though there is no nudity, Marissa Tomei is still super hot. Enjoy. The exterior is wonderful, full-grain saddle leather. I was very pleased with the quality of the leather and the construction. It’s still in the super stiff category when it arrives new, and it has the lovely aroma of a saddle store or a B&D boutique. There are two substantial leather handles on top. The briefcase arrives in a tight package that causes the handles to be “trained” to fall toward the center. This is a good thing. Over time, due to the way they are sewn and the way they are shipped, they will stay either upright or toward the center where they are easy to grab rather than flopping flaccidly to the sides. There is a lovely, stout, over-the-shoulder leather strap with high quality brass hardware. The hardware allows the ends of the straps to spin so that no matter which side of the strap you grab, it can be untwisted or reoriented in an instant. The strap can be quickly and easily removed, but don’t be a douche. Use the strap. Other reviews complained about odors, oily surfaces, dye rubbing off on clothes and bags misshapen from shipping. I experienced none of these problems. The leather was supple and beautiful, and as noted before, it smelled so good! My only regret is the lovely aroma completely dissipated in about two days. I’ve had the briefcase for a month or two now. I travel extensively for work, and it’s performed well beyond my expectations. It is rugged, but it’s design is timeless and classy. It would be appropriate whether you are wearing a great suit into a boardroom or a hard hat and work boots onto a job site. If I had a complaint it would be that some of the partitions/dividers in the main compartments are not sewn together at the bottom so you have to be kind of careful where you put small items. Otherwise they will drop into the abyss below the dividers, and you will be forced to dig around for them. Otherwise, this bag is SUCH a good value. I’m looking forward to it softening and scuffing and developing its own unique character as it accompanies me on my travels. I’ll probably dump it out once a year or so to clean it with saddle soap and to apply a good leather conditioner. That’s really all it should ever need. I believe this bag, with proper care and perhaps the attention of a leather repair shop every twenty or thirty years should last a lifetime or perhaps generations. Thank you to the craftsmen who produced mine. It has already become one of my favorite possessions.

> 3 dayFirst the workmanship is great, leather quality is great also. Now some things to know: a 17 inch laptop will not fit , max 15 inch laptop. On one side there is a flap that is help in place by magnetic buttons, they are very weak and useless. The briefcase does come as one reviewer said, rolled up in plastic, you literally have to hang the briefcase by the handles for it to straighten out. And the oil/stain they used for the leather does leave marks on certain items, there is even a note supplied that says you should stuff the briefcase with rags or newspapers for some time to absorb the oils. Really!! I am still keeping the briefcase ( it,s still stuffed with old rags) because the workmanship is very well done and EVENTUALLY it will have a nice look to it after it,s broken in and oil stain dried up.
