Either the chain length or where the chains are mounted it flips over easily when my budgies get on it. Interestingly we received a smaller version in a bird toy multipack off amazon awhile ago, the smaller one has shorter chains and does not flip. The birds love the smaller one - for one of the budgies it is her perch sleep at night place.

Comes from China. The item looked just like the picture. Although, since so many birds have been poisoned from toys from China, we discarded the toys.

Okay so my bird Loves this swing! But once i read the reviews after buying it I didnt want to risk exposing them to possibly harmful materials...

Metal of the chains appears to be made of zinc - its definitely not stainless steel nor aluminum. Do not use if your bird chews metal.

Bird has not decided if she likes it or not.She likes the chain tho.

I too made the mistake of purchasing before reading the reviews :( I received directly from China and tossed it right in the trash!

My cockatiel had no issues with this and plays on it daily. It is a good size for parakeets, cockatiels, etc.

Its a piece of crap, my small conure destroyed it due to the fact that the dowel is made from the cheapest wood soft,

The chain is poor quality and short. Misleading picture with a small parrot . Too small for my conure . If you own a parakeet you could get away with using this item . Not worth the cost to return .
