Can fit a 17 inch laptop, but feels tight when you put in the power brick.

I have two different laptop sleeves and this is one of them. My “17 laptop fits nicely with a little bit of extra room. I am able to cram my charger, mouse and pad in with the laptop. The material reminds me of the crisp old Oxford shirts we used to wear way back when. Feels like it’s made of canvas. If you look very, very closely the weave is red and pink. So the appearance is a red so soft that it looks like a soft pink. Really pretty. I love that this sleeve has carrying handles and the option of using a long (detachable) strap. The details (label/emblem, zipper pulls, strap rings) are in a beautiful cool silver. The stitching is strong and perfectly sewn. It is soft, but has sturdy build. If that makes sense. There is a zippered outside pouch on one side with three small compartments (for a phone, glasses and a pen maybe). The other side has a pouch that closes by Velcro. The inside is amply padded (not bulky at all) with a beautiful medium gray soft plush material. Gives the feel of protection when I take my laptop on the go. Would definitely recommend.

Wasnt too sure about this bag, as some of the photos showed the fabric looking puckered and flimsy. However, it is not, and holds its shape well. Although I havent taken it out in a downpour Im confident the fabric will repel water. I have a heavy leather backpack style laptop bag which is great for long distance travelling, but this lighter version is perfect for daily carrying. The inside fabric almost feels like fur - but isnt fluffy, so doesnt shed. Its useful having a large velcro-fastened pocket, and a large zippered one on the other side. The adjustable shoulder strap is comfortable, and its very useful to have a handle on the top. So far, Id recommend this bag.

Perfect for travel with a lightweight laptop. Sturdy and enough padding to protect the screen without being bulky.

It is as a soft fuzzy feeling inside of it. I wasnt expecting that at all.

Have a Lenovo 17 desktop replacement laptop, and none of the 17-inch laptop sleeves I tried would fit because its so thick that the zipper wouldnt close. Researched a lot looking for the 17 bag with the largest interior dimensions, and found this one; its not a neoprene rubber sleeve, but more of a laptop carrying case, but the fit around the thick laptop is as snug as can be reasonably expected. I can even get a (thin) external USB monitor in the bag at the same time. The fit is snug, so I dont think Ill be able to get the power brick/cable in there along with the laptop but thats fine with me. Padding feels very soft and protective. Very happy so far.

I ordered this bag for a Alienware M17 R5, a 17.3 laptop that measures approx. 16x12x1.25 and weighs 7.5lbs. (manufactures dimensions: 15.64x11.76x.89, weight 7.56lbs). To my pleasant surprise not only does the laptop fit but the front pocket will hold the large 230 watt power brick, power cords and a full-size corded mouse without looking overstuffed. If needed I think there is enough room for a few additional small items (IE: external SSDs). I used the rear pocket for a mouse pad and shoulder strap storage. Besides being able to swallow all of that in slim profile bag what I really like is quality materials it has inside and out. The outside is heavy nylon type material with metal shoulder strap hardware and metal zipper pulls (the zipper teeth are nylon). The inside laptop compartment is nicely padded with a (thick enough) fleece type material. So overall, a good product that fits my laptop storage and transport needs.
